First time at Al Johnsons. 25 min wait, but did not take that at all. Great service and wonderful food. Had the swedish pork roast with apple stuffing mashed potatoes, salad & veggies. Wow it was amazing! Will return next year!

We have been to Al Johnson's many times...if you are Scandinavian background...it's a must. It is always very crowded in summer, but that doesn't matter if you really want to be there. Once you are seated, the service is extremely efficient. The Butik is a great place for you to roam...and buy things...such as Scandinavian things - sweatshirts, tee-shirts, candles,... More

My husband is half Swedish, so we made a point of coming here. Seeing the goats was fun, but so was the atmosphere inside, and the Swedish pancakes were divine! There is a very good gift shop inside, too.

Not the kind of place I expected to find. Great Swedish pancakes and interesting decor. Don't forget to check out the goats on the roof!

We definitely enjoyed visiting this restaurant; the goats atop the grass/ lawn roof of the restaurant; the wait staff was courteous and the service was fast despite the large number of patrons.

This is a classic place and everyone comes here and after you eat and get your bill you will know why. The meatballs are very tasty, the pancakes are so good and the lingonberry sauce is fantastic with both. Now for the strange part, there are goats eating grass on the roof it is quite a sight. The downside to... More

I am not a expert on Swedish food, but the Swedish pancakes I had with Lingonberries for lunch where delicious! You definitely won't leave this place hungry with the generous portions. The decor is warm and comfortable, complete with orange shell back chairs that give the place a fifties/sixties vibe, Go at off hours to avoid the crowd and parking... More

In additional to goats on the rooftop, Al Johnson's has an amazing menu full of delights. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner, and just pie here and have never been disappointed. If you come at a typical eating hour, be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes. The restaurant is usually quite busy, but the service is attentive and they move things... More
