If you like any kind of pastry, you will find it here. They have a great breakfast. Lunch is also served. Service was great. Great coffee in huge mugs.

Great location from Gordon Lodge and right on the way to Sister Bay. This is a delightful tasty treat. Pastries were delicious, too. It is a winner.

We stopped for breakfast a few days ago. Our food was "ok" with nothing to boast about. A bit pricey. Service was slow.

We stopped at the DCB while driving through a week ago. I can never pass up a good bakery! The building itself is full of DC character. It's a little out of town, but it is easy to find. When we walked in, we couldn't believe how big it was. There's a bakery--full of sweets and fresh breads (which looked... More

If you've never had Corsican Bread, this is the place to start. It's like good Mediterranean bread that's already dipped in extra vermin olive oil and sesame seeds. If nothing else, try a free sample; you might be hooked. And don't forget the pastries. If they have the special chewy peanut butter cookies, get one (or more). And if you... More

Ordered a basic breakfast of Eggs, Ham, and Toast. Everything was the very best of quality. Fresh hen eggs, country ham, and freshly baked bread. The only disappointment was we discovered the gem on our final day.

DC Bakery has a lot going for it and it's much more than a bakery - they serve breakfast and lunch too. Nice French bistro ambiance, attentive waitstaff, quick service, and delicious creative entrees. If you are looking only for value, you need to be prepared for $3 coffee and $12 quiche. The lunch menu looked delicious and actually a... More

DC bakery is a must for every visit to DC. The bakery items are great and very fresh. The Corsica loaf is to die for!!!! Meals on the patio are nice, quaint and excellent food. Very highly recommend.

The baked goods are simply wonderful. Had fresh, buttery croissants and sweet frosted puff pastry pecan "crocodiles" for breakfast with excellent lattes. Ate lunch last year and was very good. Generous sandwiches on their home baked bread. Stopped the last morning to take excellent French breads home. Excellent toasted the next day for breakfast. A "don't miss" when in Door... More

One of our favorite side-trips in Door County is a visit to Door County Bakery. It is much more than a bakery ( although their bakery- Corsica bread in particular is to die for!). The food is wonderful. On this visit we had soups- I had the Tuscan tomato and my husband had the whitefish chowder. You get a nice... More
