We have eaten several times at Grasses Grill over a three year period. The food has always been excellent! Their menu has a variety of options. Beer and Wine is also available. Prices are reasonable. Serving size is large. They also offer some amazing desserts! We stopped for lunch and ordered the Apple Orchard Sandwich and the Door County Cherry... More

The staff were friendly. The only reason we really tried this place was because there aren't many restaurants open at 7:30 pm in Sister Bay. The food was average. It was served quickly. Unfortunately, there just isn't anything special to note.

I'm sorry you didn't find anything special about our restaurant. I do hope you let us know while dining with us as we would have gladly prepared something else for you. There are seven other restaurants open within walking distance at that time, so you should have had plenty of options if a New American, casual restaurant wasn't what you... More

The French fries were cold and dark with greese. They gave me new ones however; the greese was still dripping of of them. The Frisco burger was hot but the was dry and hard (day old). The quality of the food was borderline poor. Day old bread is unacceptable! I wish I could say something better but; that is how... More

Hello Laura J.-I'm sorry you weren't pleased with your meal. However, our food is always fresh and we only utilize high quality ingredients. Our fries are cooked to order and I have never seen them dripping with grease, so I'm sorry you feel that you experienced this. I see from your other reviews that you are a frequent visitor to... We stopped here after a 4 hour bike trip and find' want anything too heavy. The artichoke dip was amazing, the maple pumpkin soup was just ok and We didn't like the chili. The cherry chicken salad sandwich was pretty good as well. Overall a nice experience and friendly staff.

We arrived around 7 on a Wednesday night. Tables were all full so we chose to eat at the bar because the kitchen closed at 8. Looking around, it was obvious that many patrons knew each other and were locals. I can see why. The waitress was very bubbly with a cute hat. She handled the two drunk guys at... More

My wife and I went to Grasse's Grill for lunch. We had a great meal -- grilled cod tacos. The fish was very well prepared and served with an excellent salsa, a nice change from than a heavy tartar sauce which might be served at other restaurants. Plenty of fresh and light options. Many more gluten-free options than one might... More

Down home atmosphere and cooking. We had the "Iva's Meatloaf", FABULOUS! A bowl of potato/corn chowder, some of the best soup we have ever had. Everyone was very friendly and engaging in conversation. A slice of America. Sadie was our waitress and she was sweet and charming, went out of her way to make sure we were pleased. Thanks for... My fish tacos were very good. They had a nice combination of finely chopped salad and avocado. The soup was good and not too salty. I recommend this restaurant as a reasonable lunch stop.

We stopped in for a quick dinner on the first night of our vacation after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We all enjoyed our meal. Great waitress - quick service. Excellent food - everyone gave it a five. Good choice! You can also order take-out if you'd like.

We stopped for lunch and were planning on a fish boil for dinner so just wanted something small. Big mistake. Food was so good we overate and had no room tonight for a big dinner! Jalapeno/ buffalo chicken burger with sweet potato fries was so good! Ice cream was tempting, but neither of us had room to even consider it.
