Local secret

We wanted a good coffee and a lite breakfast/lunch. We saw that who did visit loved it. It's a nature/natural feel. I got an iced maple latte and my wife got an iced salted caramel latte, highly recommend iced maple latte. I got there roasted tomato and goat cheese burrito and my wife got green and... read more

Wonderful breakfast for he whole family. Fresh and super tasty. The atmosphere was cozy and everything clean. The daily quiche was wonderful and the Bombalina was the most amazing dish (banana slices, granola, milk, whipped cream and caramel sauce).

This is what Starbuck's would be if a family ran it. Food is fresh and beautifully flavorful. Coffee is perfect. Many beverage and food choices.

I love this little basement coffee bar. Their drinks are very good and sometimes I want to try something different and the baristas always have a recommendation to try. I have tried a number of pastries which are fulfilling to my sweet tooth. I hope to come for their delicious sounding lunch choices, there's always a good reason to return... More

Amazing breakfasts. Smoothies are yummy. Lots of coffee and teas to choose from. Definitely worth the trip. Baked eggs a must.

Although this isn't the fastest coffee shop, the food makes it worth the wait. Whether it is the baked goods, the breakfast specials or lunch items, we have enjoyed everything we have ordered. We also enjoy the atmosphere, and even the chance to eat outdoors in the garden area.

Slipped away from daily chores to cozy up with girlfriends on a chilly spring day for a veggie brunch of latte and homemade soup. Peering at the bakery case like a child wondering what they've made for me today. Quiet conversation as we sip our coffees and feel we are in a secret clubhouse where they are always waiting for... Base Camp is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or a mid-morning cup of coffee. The proprietor is an accomplished chef who turns out incredible dishes for a devoted following. The seating area is very small, except in summer when outdoor tables help a lot, but the amazing food is worth any inconvenience.

The menu is not huge, but do not be fooled: the food is crafted by a passionate chef in small batches that invariably are delightful. Perfectly baked eggs, a few charming lattes, savories that can impress without adding ridiculous ingredients, and baked goods with a subtle perfection-- this place is under a store that sells Keens, after all-- they are... It's the Starbucks of Sister Bar. Cute place in the lower level of a historic building. Full service coffee bar with many twists, and they also make soups and sandwiches/wraps, desserts and croissants! Cozy place to hang out, chat or use their wifi. Closes at 3PM and during late March through April.
