We visited the restaurant this past weekend as a party of five. The service was not impressive and we even wondered if it was our servers first night. Other than that, we all enjoyed our meals and we even added desserts. The wine list was nice. Clearly well thought out and priced nicely. Also, the sunset view from inside the... More

Food was great. Great cuisine. Excellent views. Great staff. Highly recommend making this a door county stop.

We recently went to Door County with family members who go to Kristofer's every year. The last night of our trip we had reserved a table by the windows to watch the sunset. The view was beautiful, but not enough to offset the bad service or food. When our first course of soup and salad arrived, we had to ask... More

We went for a date dinner after reading several reviews. We loved the view. But my white fish was fishy, and when we mentioned this to the waiter he told us it's fresh. My husband ordered grilled salmon, and this one was dry, too long on grill. We were very sad, because they ruined our dinner. And for the price... More

I ate here with my father recently. The servers were super friendly, the food was amazing, especially the flat iron steak I had, and the view was perfect. Great night.

My wife and I came to the restaurant as we do every year and while it was busy the two servers on brought the food out timely and the food was great. Some of the diners seemed upset that there was a slight wait, yet the wait staff handled these situations with professionalism and ease. We will be back.

Well, went to Kristofer's for our annual anniversary dinner. It changed hands last year; the former chef now runs a cooking school. It's not what it used to be. Location and view are terrific, as always (overlooks the Sister Bay marina and sunsets). Tuesday evening of 4th. of July week, which should always be busy with tourists. At 6:30 it... More

The only reason I didn't give it a "terrible" is that the food was good. It is so sad to see a restaurant that my wife and I have been going to for seventeen years decline. The previous owners/chef were amazing. Not only was the food world-class, the service and atmosphere were spot on. On our last visit (today!) we... More

We experienced very slow service. We were seated promptly however we did not see out waiter for over 20 minutes and were not given water or bread. The couple seated after us walked out as they were also waiting a long time for service. After holding out hope (45 minutes) the waiter took our order. About 10 minutes after the... More

We dined at Kristopher's in late June as part of a weekend in Door County. (We had eaten the night before at The Waterfront, also in Sister Bay, which I would recommend more highly.) The food was very good (we both had sliced flat iron steak) but a few lapses need to be mentioned. First, a restaurant with a great... More
