Ate here two nights in a row. Wonderful Wisconsin "supper club" experience with over sized drinks and personalities. Lots of locals who look like they've been coming here for years. Crowded on both Wednesday and Tuesday nights which says a lot I guess. Food was very good, plentiful and economical. The people and the ambiance are what makes this place.... More

We ate there on Saturday night. ..place was very busy which is always a good sign. Loud, including staff. Drinks good. My wife ordered the Prime Rib. She asked if they still had rare, the hostess said yes. I ordered the 10 oz fillet, medium rare. The prime and filet both came out medium well. Mine was very dry. We... More

I had lunch here one day and it was fantastic. The entrees are reasonably priced, very big portions and the staff is very friendly. I had the open faced beef tenderlion, just a great meal. I have heard that this place is famous for prime rib on the weekends, I am planning on trying it.

This is a great small town bar and restaurant. We had a party of four and had to wait on a Saturday night. They don't take reservations unless your party is 6 or more. We were told it would be an hour wait. We had a drink and in less than 40 minutes we were seated. We all ordered steak... More

Very oblivious to customers at bar. Took shots with paying customers while the rest of the bar sat with ice.

Met my nephew and niece as this is their favorite place to eat. Came on a Friday and we didn't have to wait long as they knew almost all the wait staff and bartenders :) Had the Friday Night Fish Fry. Yumm!! It was great, one of the better ones that I have eaten. Drinks are good. Older type restaurant... More

Driving out to this place it seemed like being out in the middle of nowhere. Place is a stones throw from the lake and great surprise. They don't make places like this anymore. You walk in and see the bar with all the old timers. The restaurant is smaller but very comfortable. We sat by the fireplace and with the... More

Had the fried ravioli, which was deleicious, followed by a salad with the best crumbled blue cheese I ever had and the most tender prime rib ever. It melted in my mouth! For dessert I tried the Hershey tort, which was recommended by our waitress, and it was amazing. The desserts are all homemade made by one of the bartender's... More

We recently visited on a Friday night. Though we heard their fish fries were very good, we were looking forward to steak. We found the restaurant to be located in the beautiful Black River area of Sheboygan. The restaurant is surrounded by pine trees and very near the beaches of Lake Michigan. We arrive by 5:00 pm. They do not... More
