Great Tavern

The 8th Street Ale House has a nice selection of craft beers. The interior and decor is very nice to present a pleasant atmosphere. They have good food; nothing like cheesecurds when out drinking. The location is great as well.

Maybe a little on the pricey side, but great atmosphere, very good food and the draft beer selection one of the best in the area. Get the sampler flight for a nice beer experience. Cheese curd appetizer is delicious.

We have eaten here over the last several years as a couple, family with young kids and with our meeting. They have great food. Their tuna appetizer is the BEST. Lightly grilled, very tender. Had that last night, along with the Schnitzel. Excellent. And a selection of beer that goes on forever. Samples are available. Clean, good prices. Good service.... More

We actually visited here twice this weekend. We went here on Saturday, and then again Sunday night because it was one of the few places open on a Sunday night after 9:00pm. We enjoyed the beer and ate mainly appetizers. The bacon corn chowder was delicious, and the pretzels and cheese curds were also very good. Nice atmosphere and good... More

we thought the prices were high, and the food quality was not that great. We won't be going back. The service was fine and so was the atmosphere. But we were disappointed in the food.

Got in before the Monday night Packers game. Beer selection is good and the food well prepared. Service was awesome. Will stop in again I my next visit.

I stopped for lunch and had two really lovely IPAs and a variation on Eggs Benedict made with pork loin that was out of this world good! It's worth the detour off of I-44 for sure. I'll be back!

There are few places that offer good ole home cooked food However, 8th Street Ale House does. They have great home cooked food. An diverse selection of beers, domestic and microbrews. They have a bar and a restaurant. They also offer live entertainment. This place has it all if you are looking for a night out.

Stopped in for food and beverage on a recent Sunday evening. Cozy atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. Combination of tall tables, regular tables and a large bar. Large selection of draft and bottled beers. Good selection of food choices. I chose a great stout from Oregon and a chicken queso. The recommended stout was perfect. The quest was huge and could... Wonderful dinner and beer flights during June sprints weekend at Elkhart Lake raceway. Called ahead and asked if the Chicago Blackhawks match would be on one of the 4 TVs that night - the answer "Absolutely, we are the official Blackhawks pub in Sheboygan". Julie, the hostess, was helpful and knowledgeable about the huge variety of beers and the food... More
