Ok, I first have to admit, as a New Yorker, I had no idea what a "supper club" was, hence I had no way to compare it with other supper clubs. We had the address on the GPS and almost drove past it twice. (Look for the maroon canvas awning with the name Rupp's Lodge.) Downtown Sheboygan was absolutely dead...not... More

Old fashion bar type setting till you step into the restaurant, all the staff had white dress shirts and black bow ties, a great 50's supper club feel, laided back feel, and the BEST steak dinner, and salad bar!

Very enjoyable SUN dinner at Rupp's. I would recommend highly. The atmosphere brought me back to some of the older restaurants in Chicago...Very long full service bar as you enter with dining in a large, back room. My wife had the special of the night which was boasted chicken. Way too much to eat. I tried the double bratwurst sandwich... More

We ate here on others recommendations. Sorry to say we didn't enjoy the food or the service. It was a bit slow. My husband doesn't eat carrots and asked to have them held out of his (wilty) salad and yet the steamed veggies with his meal was mostly carrots. The waitress was too busy chatting with regulars to pay attention... More

While in the Sheboygan area on business I researched Trip Advisor and decided to visit Rupp's Downtown restaurant. I was anxious to visit this establishment in an old building in downtown Sheboygan and experience its ambiance and hopefully fantastic food. When I entered the restaurant i saw one of the chefs and the formally dressed Maiter D talking. I had... More

My husband and our 4 and 7 year old went here for dinner and it was delicious! The salad bar was great, the soup was swiss onion and it was to die for! I had the shrimp and tenderlion combo and it was amazing!

After a bunch of restaurant misses during our trip to Sheboygan we came across this gem! Brought back memories of past family owned supper clubs with excellent service and great food! The BBQ ribs & prime rib were to die for. Families with children are welcome. A larger group was easily accommodated. Will return any time we are in the... More

We escape to Sheboygan in the summer whenever we can and we discovered Rupps on our first trip. Here we are years later and still anticipate a visit to this vintage establishment for steaks. We were in town this time for the 4th of July festivities. We arrived late on July 3rd before the Regatta parade and found the same... More

Rupps is a throwback to the classic dining experience of my childhood with classic fare done right. Everything from crispy, golden fries to juicy steaks and mouth watering, fall off the bone ribs. You won't be disappointed here unless you're a vegetarian. But why would you be?
