took a day trip ride to sheboygan and had lunch while looking out at marina and beautifu boats. Really cute fishing village like area with restaurants and shops. We were not disappointed and lovely very fresh lunch and very affordable. We will definitely drive up to this lovely area again.

Our party of four stopped here for lunch yesterday. We were greeted promptly by our college student waitress and given menus. Our questions were answered politely regarding menu items. Unfortunately, my fork was dirty, the floor around my side of the table was sticky, as well as the entire top surface of our table! The waitress gave me a new... More

We ate a simple lunch outside with our kids, the staff was pleasant and the food was good! The table next to us raved about the onion rings, so maybe next time we'll try that. Definitely darker inside, so we probably wouldn't bother going unless we could eat outside, but charming in an authentic kind of way!

We were looking for a nice, quiet place to go for dinner. Unfortunately, Mucky Duck wasn't it. Even though there were only about 4 other tables of people there, we waited 20 minutes for our appetizer and then only part of it came. The soup tasted like paste, the rolls had burned bottoms, the entrees were below average at best.... More

This was the worst food and service I have experienced in years and I eat out a lot. The shrimp cocktail was 20 mins in the coming and there were only 6 tables seated with 2-4 persons each. The cocktail sauce was so thick you needed to spoon it onto the over cooked shrimp. The clam chowder arrived and it... More

I've been dining here on occasion when visiting my parents for years. The food is fair, but I'm a food snob. It's a great place for drinks and snacks outside on the river with friends and family.

We were in Sheboygan visiting friends, and while they were busy we decided to venture out toward the lake and have some lunch. It was a chilly Saturday afternoon in March, and we wanted to dine somewhere with a view of the water. Our friends mentioned the Mucky Duck (notice I did not say "recommend" - rather, they mentioned a... More

This restaurant is located in an old fish shanty on the Sheboygan River. On the outside, I have to admit, it doesn't look very welcoming, but I have been at other restaurants that I thought twice about going into, and have enjoyed the food, so I decided to try this, even though some of the reviews could turn someone away.... Restaurant's name 'shanty' is an accurate description, as it's decor is nautical but feels run down and lacking in charm. Service was very slow, and we were there midweek with only a few patrons in the place! But the food prices were down right cheap, and the food was good. No soft drink refills, and you get a very small... More

The Mucky Duck seemed like a cool place as we love old buildings and quaint places. The prices are by far the cheapest I have seen in the last ten years so that was a surprise. The service was average I suppose, nothing to write home about and the food fairly standard fair. If you are looking for someplace inexpensive... More
