I was underwhelmed. This looks like a fantastic place from the outside, driving by. I suppose it's wonderful outside in the summer (on the water), but I was expecting some great regional fish selections based on the logo/signage. The chips/salsa table service was unexpected & included a tasty spicy ranch dip, too. It reminds me of a carribean/jimmy buffet theme... more

This restaurant is one of my favorites here in sheboygan. It always has awesome food and the social atmosphere is great! The margaritas are the best and so are the bartenders. Anyone in the area should try it out you wont be disappointed!:) more

I've been to Highland House a few times and am always a bit disappointed. From the outside and the atmosphere you'd think they have it all together. The food in my opinion is satisfactoy, nothing to write home about. Their chips and salsa for free are pretty good. The fajitas and burritos are decent, hamburgers are fine. It is nice... more

The food was quite tasty. Free chips, salsa, and jalapeno ranch kept us busy during the long wait for our food. We weren't charged for our sodas and I was very impressed with the prices vs. the quality of the food. The sour cream and chive fries were very possibly the best I've ever had. Do not order a steak from this place. I have tried three times and have been disappointed everytime. Overall the food and service is average at best. more

I love this place , go there whenever I am in Sheboygan area. Service is always great and food is a really good value , and lots of it. This is an untypical restaurant where everyone seems to fit in.. our Kids even like it... more

We ate at the Highland House on Friday night, March 13, 2009 The hostess who seated us as well as our waitress was very nice and friendly. The view (although March) was nice. The food was good. Always problems with the service, the manager is rude! brought my familly in that was here from the south and it was a big mistake!! The food is good but it is not worth dealing with the people(managers) i have tried to give this place a chance but they keep getting it wrong. Maybe that is why everybody in town... more
