Great tasting food. I love the old school feel to the place. I think the value of the place is excellent. Anyone that says the value is not there has not purchased a piece of meat lately. Fri and Sat steak and fish for 17.95. Stopped last night, on a week night, an app. two sandwiches for $20.00 for the... More

All in all pretty good, but 4.00 for a pint of tap beer in downtown Seymour is to much for me. Green Bay, Appleton. I can expect but not in a rural area, with no other night life going on. I thought the food was great, but, me myself dont understand why the cheaper things like bread are just not... More

Early dinner with friends. We were seated and served right away. Good service from start to end. We all had the small tenderloin and twice baked potato. The soup and salad bar was very good. The steak was tender and tasty. It is an old building and not what you would pick for a romantic dinner, but the food, service... More

My wife and I began going here several years ago for a 'date night.' At that time we were pleasantly surprised and began going there more often on Fridays or Saturdays. Then suddenly things changed. Their salad bar shriveled (the soups disappeared) and their unique 'potato bar' (with everything from potato pancakes to mashed) just disappeared. The prices rose and... More

When going out with friend thought we would try it again as we had been hearing not good things about the restruant from others. It turned out to be great and definitely would go back again!

In the past Hotel Seymour was one of our favorite places to go for dinner. The only thing good was the friendly bartender and the drinks she made us. I had the seafood fettuccine. The shrimp were small salad shrimp, and I had to look for the crab meat. Also not much taste to the alfredo sauce. My was to... More

Menu has changed 3 times in a short period of time. Best thing on the salad bar was the soup - now (7/2013) salad bar EXCLUDES soup and you have to ORDER (pay extra) for a bowl or cup of soup! Menu entree that costs over $15 and you leave hungry is pretty sad. Not planning on going back anytime... More

We used to love the salad bar at the hotel. Went back for the first time in a few months and were extremely disappointed. The salad bar had replaced several tasty items with new, less desirable items. The cucumbers tasted like nail polish remover - very bitter. There were rotten pieces of both cucumbers and tomatoes in their bowls. The... More

We had a gift certificate for the Hotel and decided to give it another try. Much, much better this time. It was not busy and we were seated right away. What that means I do not know. The food was excellent this time around. Waitress was also friendly. Will definetly go again.
