get to the wolf pack early if you don't want to wait in line outside. Great breakfasts and lunches make this a good stop while in St Germaine.

Rainy day in the North Woods we decided to explore St. Germain and surrounding area....of course a hearty lunch was in order. Upon arriving in St Germain we noticed the sign for the Wolf PAC cafe......#1 Resturant voted by Discover Wisconsin. How could we go wrong! .....well the wait to dine was over an hour which after talking with fellow... More

Great breakfast/brunches of eggs and perch. Good value for the money. Usually a large crowd and sometimes a wait. But generally worth it.

I travel quite a bit for my job and have had more meals at ho-hum places than I care to remember. So imagine my surprise to find good food at a tiny town up here. I haven't had their pancakes yet but I did order a tuna salad croissant which was delicious! It was not drowning in mayonnaise and had... More

The pancakes were as advertised one of the best I have ever had! But the side of bacon I had was extremely thin cut and flavorless bacon .

We went on a impromptu weekend adventure in the Minocqua/St. Germaine area this last weekend. This restaurant was suggested to us by a hotel clerk as being very good. From the outside, it is very cute...nice lodge/wolf theme feel...inside is another story. It was more like a dining room...VERY crowded. And VERY loud...like almost unsually loud, even for a loud... We ate here for breakfast the day we left for home. We had very good coffee and the kids had hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. The kids ordered pancakes that they loved (chocolate chip and pumpkin). We had eggs benedict and the "Breakfast Special" which was hash browns smothered in sausage gravy with cheddar, eggs and toast. I... More

I typically don't order pancakes out, but friends insisted that I had to order at least one. I wish I would have ordered a 100 - they were that good. They're huge! Thin and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is very small and we were a large party but never made to feel rushed and the service was exceptional and... More

First impressions are of a very small, well-decorated, clean, and busy restaurant! Wolf pictures and art items contribute to the Northwoods feeling. The interior is bright and cheerful. The exterior has hanging basket of flowers and, in the summer months, lots of people sitting in the sun, waiting for their name to be called for a table. Part of the... More

The food is excellent, but go only if you have a lot of time. The place is tiny, so there's always a long wait. Then, if there's only two of you, and a table for four opens up, they will give the table to a group of four that came in after you, and you will be stuck waiting for... More
