Place was clean, lovely surroundings but We will not return here. I asked and was told Everything has MSG in it! MSG is a known carcinogen! We have enough cancer in our world to add something to our food that is known to cause cancer!! And for my taste everything was WAY too spicy!! Even my husband who enjoys spicy... More

I've been going to Bangkok House for years, and it is by far the best Thai food in the Milwaukee area. My personal favorites are the tofu pad thai and the panang curry with pork but everything there is delicious. There is a weekly lunch buffet from 11:30 - 2 with quite a few different options on the menu. Make... More

A friend of mine suggested this restaurant...I had the Wonton Soup, very good! And the Volcano Chicken as my entre...also VERY good. My partner had the Tom Kha Chicken soup and Pud Kee Mow, his was good, with the exception of the long black hair found in his dish. We both had the Fried Banana for dessert. I'd dine here... More

Almost every dish on the lunch buffet is delicious. The service isn't great but they have about 12-15 dishes on the buffet, the meat quality is fine (much better than your standard Chinese buffet in terms of quality), and the flavors are delicious. I recommend: Pad Thai: 4/5 Volcano Chicken : 5/5 Pineapple Curry Chicken: 5/5 Drunk Man Noodle: 5/5... More

I know I've posted how Im a huge fan of Thai-Namite on the East Side, but this restaurant blows it out of the water. Their menu is huge, but not in an overwhelming way. They have probably around 20 types of noodles, and maybe 10 types of chicken, 10 types of beef, 10 types of pork, etc etc. And everything... More

I spent a month in Thailand about 10 years ago, eating as close to 'real' Thai as possible so have an idea what good that tastes like. Bangkok House ain't bad at all. My wife and I have been 3 times for dinner, once for the lunch buffet. Good tom yum soup, crispy whole fish, pud thai etc. The lunch... More

Ate here this eve in a party of 3. Have eaten here before. Located in strip shopping center w/a Subway, Dollar store, haircut places, Hallmark, Pic 'n Save, etc. Plenty of free parking. Good, but not spectacular Thai. Smallish portions for the price. The owner was coughing and hacking while we ate, which was of some concern. Prompt service. Not... More

I agree that this is the best Thai food in the Milwaukee area. We particularly enjoy the Nam Sod appetizer and the Pad Prig Khing, Pad Prig Pow, and Bangkok House Noodles entrees. They also have good curries, and their large hotpots of soup are enough for a meal for two, especially with an appetizer. The sauces are flavorful but... More

You may not think that one of the best meals in the Milwaukee area can be had at a strip mall in St. Francis, but so it is. Many Milwaukee publications claim that the best Thai food in town is downtown, but we have eaten at those establishments and find our strip-mall store-front Thai spot to beat the competition, hands...
