Description: St. Francis Brewery & Restaurant has been serving heavenly food and...
St. Francis Brewery & Restaurant has been serving heavenly food and sinfully good beer to the St. Francis and Milwaukee community since April 2009. As a locally owned business, our restaurant creates a warm, family-friendly dining experience. Our full menu offers something for everyone with several unique items made with our beer or hand-crafted soda. Brewmaster Scott Hettig creates traditional brews with new seasonal and cask conditioned beers to try each month. Beers on tap at the restaurant are brewed on site with the option to buy or refill half-gallon growlers of our beer or hand-crafted soda.

Local brew pub, nice outdoor patio

Try a beer sampler for a nice variety of their beers. Excellent brandy alexanders with real ice cream. Good menu variety.

Stopped by here for a quick bite whilst house hunting in the area. St. Francis Brewery has a church-like theme which contrasts incredibly well with the brewing equipment out back and their huge bar. Clearly hit with the local clergy as they were there for lunch! We opted for appetisers as we weren't too hungry. I had the chicken tenders... More

I never knew the St. Francis brewery existed until about three weeks ago, since then I have been three times!!! It is a great spot to grab a drink at the bar, or sit down and get food. The fish tacos are hands down my favorite fish tacos in Milwaukee. They also have a great selection of micro brewed beers...... More

Fish fry on Friday in Milwaukee is big time business. We were lucky that on this Friday the 4th of July fireworks were being held in Milwaukee so we had only minutes to wait for a table. We were pleased our server was Brian, who was very knowledgable of their beer and food. My husband had their beer which he... More

All and all the food and service here is good. Nothing spectacular here to write home about though. The beer brewed here is good but lacks depth and full flavor. The one beer that sounded promising was the casket ale but they were out of it.

Good food but service a bit slower than it should be / beer selections pretty good and change regularly. Fish fry and potato pancakes are fabulous

This is a place for wholesome food, good service, and good drinks while being moderately priced. Try the handcrafted beers, they're awesome.

My favorite bar in Milwaukee. Great, fresh brewed beer, beautiful place and great staff. The food is also good but their beer steals the limelight.

Easy to find in the Milwaukee suburb of St. Francis. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't very crowded. The cheese soup was creamy, but didn't have a lot of flavor. The cheese curd appetizer was outstanding. From the recommendation of our waiter we ordered the beer braised beef, hamburger, and jambalaya. We were very pleased. We had... More

We've been to St. Francis Brewery a number of times for dinner. Most recently for Friday fish fry. The fried cod was a little greasy but overall good. I like the fried cod much better than the perch which was really really greasy the past two times I ordered it. Beer cheese soup is one of the must haves on... More
