After going to the Labor Day Flea Market in Princeton, we stopped at this sandwich shop as we headed home. I tried their four-cheese grilled sandwich, and my husband ordered a bowl of mushroom barley soup with a 1/2 sandwich -- his was chicken salad. After lunch, my husband went into the bakery portion and got one of their dark... More

This small sandwich, soup, salad, bakery, and coffee shop has a great variety of sandwiches and salads. We are told that the soups, which regularly change, are homemade. We each had a veggie sandwich on sourdough bread. Multiple bread choices. Sandwich included grilled red peppers and feta cheese. My side was homemade chips. My wife had the veggie dip. Afterwards... While visiting my mother near Markesan we decided to take her for a little road trip and lunch. Read the Trip Advisor reviews on Fat Bruce's and decided to give it a try. We're glad we did. It was very busy which we knew was a good sign (especially mid-week). Prices were reasonable, staff was courteous and food was quite... More

My husband and I were vacationing in nearby Green Lake and were looking to try a new place for lunch and ended up in Fat Bruce's. I had an $8 spinach artichoke salad and my husband had a turkey club. My salad was pretty good but the sandwich was pretty meager and expensive. The bread wasn't anything great. My husband... More

We ate at Fat Bruce's during a family vacation to Ripon. My nephew, Sam, took us here and we loved the selection and quality of the food. The also have a great bakery attached to the dining room. Everything was fresh and a great quality. Ripon was a lovely town.

My husband and I were just passing through town and stopped for a bite to eat. My husband had the special Beef au jus Sandwich, which was very good for a cold sandwich. He asked for a side of horseradish, which really perked up the sandwich. It was served with potato chips and a pickle. For dessert, we each had... More

I have eaten at Fat Bruce's soon after they open a number of years ago. This establishment is one of Ripon's gems. They have great food, the soup is to die for, and I love their chocolate mint brownies. A couple years ago, they expanded their restaurant into the next building. Even after that, it is a very busy place.... More

We eat lunch at Fat Bruce's usually once every other week. The service is always friendly. The soup, salads and sandwiches are great. The Cicero salad is my favorite. We also like the chicken salad sandwich. This place is a great value. Grab a 1/2 sandwich and salad for a great lunch. But, the best part is dessert. Be sure... More
