Excellent food and service

We have eaten here a number of times and have not been disappointed. The food has been excellent and the service has been very good. The bar itself is nice size. Can be a bit busy for a single bartender. Drinks were also good but were a "little light" on the booze.

We've traveled here every year for the past two years; we come with our hockey team. They are very accomodating to our late night "parent meetings" that are held in the bar area. So much fun; many laughs with staff, great drinks. The Friday night buffet is great as is the Saturday prime rib. Warm and welcoming ambiance. Our friends... More

We (my husband and I ) were staying in Rhinelander, WI for the night and checked Trip Advisor for dinner options and came across this restaurant. We were so glad we did. My husband had the nightly special which was fried perch and I had the DELICIOUS Maple Glazed Salmon which was ridiculously good and excellently cooked. We both had... More

Our Family just spent out Christmas at Holiday Acres Resort. We all gathered for the Friday Night Buffet and it was wonderful. The place is so festive and beautifully decorated. Truly a fine dinning experience for the whole family. The Chef is great!

Our Company had our Christmas Party here for the second time and WE WILL BE BACK. How do I start? Decorations were beautiful, service from the girls booking our party, the bartender to the waitress's were exceptional, and the food was fantastic! Every one agreed that everything they tried was delicious and this was one of the best places they... More

We head here when we need a change of pace and we always get great food. The atmosphere is wonderful and service is always top notch. They sometimes are a little slow, but sit back and relax. I love the Pork Athena and get it every time. Soups are fantastic! Deserts even better. We will continue to go back.

We eat here often, always a treat. Dinner last night of scallops, roasted squash and roasted asparagus... Delish! Great wine and wonderful atmosphere ... A cozy table near the fire.

I've eaten here 4 times, however 3 of them were in meetings and a company party. The food then was not good, but buffets rarely are. However, these buffets were of poorer quality than I've experienced at other buffets. The food was poor quality - very cheap! The desserts included with one of the meals were 1-inch square brownie-type bars.... More

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here and enjoyed the sumptuous buffet. Everything was fresh and appetizing. We had a choice of 2 types of fish, shrimp, chicken, and chef carved ham. There were 3 types of potatoes, freshly steamed veggies, salads bread, and dessert! We would dine here again.

I used to visit here for the Sunday brunch back in the 70's when I lived in the northwoods and it was always a great place to eat. I had not been back in about 25 years until we visited Three Coins last October with friends who live in the area. We had a delightful evening. Before we ate we... More
