Improved service and good food

We've had mixed experiences here this year as there has been a turnover in staff and a new chef. On this occasion , we were very pleased with our experience . I ordered the scallops special and it was excellent . The scallops were perfectly cooked and served on a tasty cauliflower mash. Others in... read more

The restaurant and bar are the highlight of the property. The dining room is so old it's back in style. The menu has some traditional options alongside something new to try. Menu items are truly chief inspired, I've like most everything I've had. However this writer must warn against the Friday night fish fry buffet. At $15.95 it's way way... More

Dear Robert S Thank you for taking time to review Holiday Acres Three Coins Restaurant. We are happy to hear that you enjoy our location, as well as the dining room and bar atmosphere. We do prepare all of our entrees and salads from scratch, both on the menu and on the Friday Night Buffet. With both baked and deep... More

We've been there twice, once for their Friday Fish fry buffet and second for our anniversary. Both times the food was delicious and the service very good.

If you stay at Holiday Acres, this is the onsite restaurant and bar for you. The bar is very nice with lots of windows to let you enjoy the beautiful woods. The bartenders were not easy to engage in conversation. I guess they're answered all of the questions before. The restaurant has the typical breakfast and dinner options. Nothing fancy,... More

My wife and I both enjoyed our meals. Staff was more than pleasant and food was very well presented and yummy. We have eaten there beffore and it did not disappoint us, still one of the better restaurants in the area.

I went on a weeknight and it wasn't busy at all. My main course, Maple Salmon, was very good. I would definitely get it again. The french onion soup was very salty; more salty than I've ever had it anywhere else (and I order it alot). It wasn't so salty that I couldn't eat it, but it was so salty... More

We had a voucher towards our dinner as partnofnthis package. The restaurant and bar area has a wonderful ambiance with wi dows all around and a cozy lodge feeling with wood and nice just right lighting. The menu was extensive and all entries include either soup, salad or cottage cheese plus a starch or vegetable and warm rolls. It was... More

We were so happy to see that they were open for a meal Thanksgiving day, the food was just ok. Place was packed and you could barely get in between the chairs. Wait staff was very pleasant. Recommend you make reservations early to get in and ask what's on the menu before going to ensure that there is something you... More

Best restaurant in a long time!! Nice staff and the food is excellent. Try the grilled elk. There is not a bad table in the place.

Love the northwoods feel. Service was excellent. Food very good. A bit pricey for the area. Been there several times and food is always good.
