Duck was delicious as was the Sunday Brunch. Very accomadating to kids. Jazz singer on Sunday was a bit loud, but nice place.

The seafood buffet was wonderful and the servers were great. They explained much about the food and were proud of everything. The macaroni and cheese was so good - it is homemade in their kitchen. We stay in cottages in Rhinelander every year and visit this restaurant twice in the week we are up there. We had also gone the... More

A little pricey for Rhinelander, but the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi with coconut cream sauce was excellent. I had Walleye, which was farm raised (very hard to get wild caught unless you do it yourself), which also was great. Didn't like the rice with tyme. Way too much herb taste. Better to order a different side until the chef... More

Another fabulous dinner at Holiday Acres. The fresh Ahi tuna, flown in, is like eating at a great restaurant at a large city. If you want to save the time and expense of leaving the Northwoods for fine dining, Holiday Acres is the place.

Excellent food -- the buffet was terrific, with a wide range of choices (including non-meat options). The bloody mary was incredible, the desserts delicious. Extremely reasonable prices, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Set a bit off the beaten path on the outskirts of Rhinelander, this restaurant is one of the areas best. The atmosphere is "elegant rustic" with linens on the table, beautiful Northwoods setting, and varied dinner menu. The service is great..we did not, on this trip, get the pennies to make a wish in the fountain when we left. It... More

We have gone to Holiday Acres for our family vacation for around 30 years. Each year, our last night at the resort is "lodge night" when we dine in the Three Coins Restaurant. It is an evening we all anticipate with relish. The friendly wait staff greet us with a smile. We enjoy the buffet and the warmth of the... More

I did write a review with my resort review, but realized it might be better served by coming here and doing the same. We stayed at the resort August 2-5. After reading your reviews I was highly anticipating eating at the Three Coins. We arrived on 8/2 with our party of 7 and were brought to a table in the... More

Dear Ifirget, Thank you for taking the time to write two reviews on TA. We are very glad that you enjoyed your resort stay. We are sorry that you did not get the same level of attention and good service the evening you dined with us. Although that was a very hectic evening at the restaurant, that is no excuse... More

Party of 7, sat right down to our table to be greeted immediatly by our server. Good drinks, reasonably priced. Had one buffet, two pork athena, one smoked beef loin, one alfredo and one ahi tuna. Everyone raved but buffet items a little dried out. Dessert- cheesecake divine. Only good place in town to have a wonderful meal!

3 girlfriends (we've known each other for almost 40 years) together for a Friday night dinner in beautiful Northern Wisconsin. I had the buffet because I wanted to have both fried and baked fish AND also sample other offerings. Everything was tasty and hot (I like my food hot.) One friend had pan-fried pike ... said it was very very... More
