We will no return. The place was filthy. Dirty carpets black scum on tiles and in corners. Table not wiped clean. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. We watched a roach crawl across the dining room floor. We where told they take pride in having a real chef. Any chef I know would be appalled to claim... More

We needed a quick lunch on our way north and this was the only non fast food place we saw. Waitress was pleasant and our food arrived quickly. My husband's order was wrong but not a big deal. My salad was quite good.

Had to wait forever just to place drink order.Waitresses were too busy socializing with each other. Waitress got order wrong and when advised of this, said no,that's what I ordered, even though everyone at table told her it was wrong. They did fix it later. The food was cold-my gravy had started congealing. Food was taken back and "heated" but still didn't... More

We stopped here for breakfast one morning while visiting Rhinelander. Really good food at a reasonable price. The restaurant was very busy and it took a little while to get our food. The servers kept our coffee cups filled while we waited, and when the food did arrive, it was well worth the wait. We will definitely eat here again... More

The ribs had too much fat on them for my liking but when i talked to the waitress I got another meal for free and a dessert (cheese ravioli and a pb cub ice cream cake both of which were delicious)

Arrived at 10 am, gretted with fresh carnations for each lady. Our part of three icluding the 92 year old matriarch were treated like royalty. Our coffee never ran out, servers, bussers and even the owner were out with the customers meeting everyones' needs. Pleasant, attentive and the mood of the dining room was just as their name states- Friendly.... More

This place was recommended by one of the local residents and the advice was good. Our server was pleasant and efficient. We told here we were traveling and this was our first time. She took the time to make sure we noted the day's specials. My husband ordered a sirloin steak special. Very tasty. I ordered the corned beef and... More

This was our second visit to the Friendship House and we were not disappointed the food was great, my wife selected the French onion Soup and it was just as good as what she cooks at home, I chose the omelet it had a great filling and was very good value for money, we will eat here again.
