Cute, cramped, good not outstanding food

Service is often lacking and it is usually quite cramped. Food is ok, given that it's in northern Wisconsin it's above average.

Serves pretty good food and has different offerings than other local restaurants. You need to go before or after lunch crowds. I think they could actually do away with a room dedicated to scarfs, mittens, jewelry, etc and make more seating.

We went to Crimson Cafe on the recommendation of a friend. There were two couples and we each had something different. The dining area would be a bit tight if they were crowded. If there are more than 4 people in your party, you probably could not sit together at one table. Everyone felt their choice was delicious. I had... More

This place is hidden. It is on the street but the parking and entrance are in the back down an alley that looks more like a private driveway. The specialty coffees were wonderful, the berry salad and chicken salad peninni were also great. Good place for lunch---mostly women.

When my mom and I go out for lunch, this is our go to spot. Wonderful staff and fresh food. I always get a half sandwich and soup.

This is a great little place with excellent contemporary food. Parking is in back, and it looks like a house. The soups are excellent and it feels like you're at a B&B. I have never been disappointed here

We stopped by the Crimson Cafe while passing through Rhinelander, on our trip to Wisconsin. It was darling! We loved the charm, ambiance, and of course, the coffee. Thank you, Alyson, for your great service! There is also a little gift shop offering unique items at a reasonable price. If we ever pass through Rhinelander again, we will definitely be... More

Excellent stop for REAL Espresso and paninni. I would call it a small bistro rather than a restaurant but EXCELLENT for a mid afternoon carry-over. EXCELLENT service and friendly atmosphere
