I really want to give this a good since it is above average, but not a very good as I reserve that for special meals. We used to eat here when we spent our winter holidays in the area about 10 years ago before heading north for more snow, so we decided to stop in again when we passed through... More

Every time we are in Rhinelander we like to come to this restaurant. The food is great and the wait staff the very best! We had the prime rib. It was wonderful.

I love the breakfast specials for our group of guys.. great price and omelets cooked just right (not dry..). The dinner menu and quality of food is the best in town.. Homey bar area with awesome Old Fashions and craft beer on tap..

Our party of four arrived for lunch and the place was packed! We were quickly seated and the waitress arrived in a timely manner to get our drinks and order. It took very long to get our food. I assume the kitchen got behind as tables seated after us were served quicker. We were all pleased with our food, the... More

This unassuming façade in downtown Rhinelander hides a gem that transcend the usual small town fare. This traveler loves nothing more after eight hours on the road then to enjoy a wonderful steak and martini served with professionalism and consideration. I was hesitant to try this restaurant due to the rather casual name. Don't be fooled by this, this is... More

Restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff and turned out to be a great choice. The Cafe and Pub appears to be a small place from the parking lot, but reveals a very large restaurant with an extensive menu, one that features locally grown food. My husband had one of the seasonal specials, pheasant, which was served with a tasty... More

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant, and we're glad we dined there. I had a seasonal dish of butternut squash ravioli and grilled chicken, which was delicious, while my husband had the roast beef French dip sandwich, also excellent. I especially appreciated the generous glass of wine! We'll visit again if we're ever in the area.

I could not believe the size of the beer battered walleye dinner. Was so good!! It is a little more pricey but so worth it ..was like having an all you can eat walleye dinner...definitely going back!

This is a Rhinelander old stand bye. The cuisine Up North does not vary all that much from one place to another. So this is no way a stand out. It is dark paneled and great on a winter day but less so on a lovely summer day. Our 13 year old grandson loved it.

Try the french onion soup...yum! We had the Greek salad I had the Greek chicken dish; my wife had the cheesy chicken dish (sorry, I don't remember the exact menu names) All the food...and the service was great! Prices are reasonable considering the serving sizes and quality. Also had a fabulous Brandy Alexander...made with real ice cream.
