Good Value - Good Food

A very welcoming, upscale Central Wisconsin Supper Club. Very abundant portions, lots of locals, very friendly. Owner was on site. Great brandy old-fashioned drinks. Large menu selection of basic American dishes. Inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

The food is always good, if not exciting, but the atmosphere is depressing red and black, dark wood and brick - in an old-fashioned (read 70's) style. Since there are no windows it is even darker. Old icky carpeting doesn't help matters and the women's restroom is years past its due date for a remodel. Careful with the water in... More

We stopped here for lunch as it seemed to be the only non-fast food restaurant that was open at the time. The menu had a large selection that even included healthy items. My husband had the French Dip sandwich and I had a fresh whitefish sandwich. It was served on a bakery style roll with lettuce and tomato. It came... More

After a mechanical problem delayed us in Rhinelander, we ended up here for lunch. They offered my wife a great vegetarian Eggs Benedict, and she loved it. I had a Parmesan Chicken sandwich that was very good. Great atmosphere...older style...excellent service...reasonable pricing. Next time through it's a must.

Impromptu stop for lunch. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Excellent friendly wait staff. Will most definitely go back!

I always get the cheeseburger and it is perfectly done. My mom gets the small Greek salad with anchovies. Which is a great portion if you do not want to be over stuffed.

If you are a Rueben lover this will be a real treat for you. Had it many time and never disappointed. If ordered in the evening you may end up taking half home. It is large and delicious. Plenty of meat, kraut and cheese.

I have eaten here numerous times! Don't think I've ever been disappointed. The décor is very warm and relaxing, dark but comfortable atmosphere. I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all have been great. They have a great Pub sandwich and they sometimes offer carrot soup which is simply scrumptious!! I love to try their specials for something different... More

I really want to give this a good since it is above average, but not a very good as I reserve that for special meals. We used to eat here when we spent our winter holidays in the area about 10 years ago before heading north for more snow, so we decided to stop in again when we passed through... More

Every time we are in Rhinelander we like to come to this restaurant. The food is great and the wait staff the very best! We had the prime rib. It was wonderful.
