You walk in and brings you back to the 50s with it's old dinner feel. The décor is adorable with all the Kewpie dolls smiling at you. The best part is the food which is so delicious. My favorite is there burgers. I make this a must stop when I visit Racine.

Originally from Racine, I always make it a point to stop at Kewpees when I go back home. This is the best burger in town and probably the best burger you will ever have! Plus there is such wonderful history with this place!

I had to travel to Racine for work today. Passed Kewpee on the way to my destination, and the cute sign (showing a retro Kewpee Doll line drawing) got my attention. After my meeting, I went to check it out for a quick lunch stop. I ate at the counter. Even if seated, you order off of the board, and... More

This is a fine place for simple hamburger fare with delicious malts and shakes made the old fashioned way. The collection of Kewpee dolls can be viewed from the counter stools or booths. A longtime tradition for a reason.

Kewpee's is one of the last of an historic chain that goes back to 1923. I'm not even aware of another one anywhere in the country (if you know of any, please let me know). Having grown up with it, whether I am visiting Racine or just whizzing by on I-94, I make a point to be blessed with Kewpee... More

One of the best cheeseburger, root beer, fries around! I always try to make a trip to Kewpee's when I return to my hometown. I find it funny when people call the restaurant "not fancy" etc. What would they have thought of the dingy (but still delicious) place that was essentially surrounded by a parking garage? For under $15 including... More

I've been going to this restaurant for my whole life and I consider it a landmark for Racine. The decorating is filled with Kewpee dolls and sports an old fashioned counter with stools and a few tables. Nothing fancy, basic stuff that is clean. Always very busy at peak meal times, you usually have to wait for your food. It... More

I have been dining at Kewpee's since I was a young girl and it still the same as I can remember. The prices are decent as well. I love their burgers, they are great!

My fiance and i went here for the first time, and i will never eat in there again, however i wouldn't mind take-out. We went to sat at a table and we were completely ignored for about, half hour. One of the black ladies was very rude and would look at me with a very nasty look. All in all... More
