I took my boyfriend here as he visited Racine. He loved it. He thought that the service was efficient, as for burgers he liked them. The interior was very interesting for him.

Knowing I had work in the Racine, WI area (60 miles from home), I Googled "best burger" places in that area. Kewpee came out at or near the top of most recommended list. The burger wasn't anything special, and the wait staff was certainly indifferent to any encouragement to return. I also tried their chili and came away with the... More

Old diner atmospher but very clean. Also, a nice, simple menu and cheap. Burgers arent bad, and they have in house root beer thats pretty tasty in a root beer float. I'd go back for sure.

I had read of Kewpee's before, and finally made it there for lunch. All of the reviews were correct -- this is a great place for lunch (probably breakfast too -- next time!). Prices are so reasonable for such good food. Four of us ate lunch with (home-made!) root beer for $18.00. No way you can go wrong here. This... More

Kewpee's is a 'must' stop if you are in or around downtown Racine. They feature fresh hamburgers, crispy crinkle cut fries, and a frosty root beer or chocolate shake. Or you can be like me and gave the root beer with your meal and the shake for desert. This is an old diner, that has been around for many years.... More

If you are ever in Racine you need to try Kewpee's. They have been around forever and you will be able to see why. The place is pretty small but seeing all the Kewpee dolls from days gone by is very cool. Their burgers and fries are wonderful and the rootbeer is unlimited. My kids always like to get their... Found this food outlet from the tripadvisor app. Awesome tool! Without this app, we would never have found this place even though we were about 5 minutes away. Reached Kewpee at 5.40pm and to our shock, saw that it closes at 6pm. Rushed in to the counter to order our food and were told to have a seat if we... More

This place is great, similar to the burger place made famous on Saturday Night Live. They have really tasty burgers and good fries. Also, if you sit down try the root beer. We usually get burgers to go and eat them in Pershing Park looking at the waves crash and the gulls squawk. Remember, no plastic so take cash or... More

It is a cute little fast food restaurant in downtown Racine. One wall is filled with all kinds of Kewpee dolls on various shelfs. It's one of the few old time restaurants still around. This restaurant that only takes cash. You can call ahead and pick-up your order also. The food is made fresh and the service is great. We... More
