Old Style Italian

Excellent food. Family atmosphere. Prompt service. Fun old time bar. We have the Walleye fish and it was excellent. The pizza is thin crust stle if you like that.

When in Racine do leave time to sneak out for a great lunch at Wells. It's in a funky area of town but perfectly fine during the day. At night they do employ some extra help to keep the parking lot safe across the street. Wells is know in Racine as having the best thin crust pizza and I would... More

After all the hype from friends and the web, we decided to take the trip up from the south side of Kenosha. It was going to be a special occasion for dad's birthday and it was anything but special. Undercooked mozzarella sticks and lukewarm beercheese soup started the meal. Then came the longest period of time we have ever waited for... More

I'm so sorry your experience was not a good one. I believe I have spoke to you and hope we have resolved the issue. We had a pizza oven go down, in the middle of a very busy night. Yes, we were not prepared for that to happen. We did what we could to fix the situation. I did not... More

Good thin crust pizza in a local area family restaurant setting. Loved the local town atmosphere and the service was great. Seems like they had a lot of locals there when we had dinner. Neighborhood around the restaurant looks a little rough but they have a local police officer outside the restaurant and to be honest I wasn't to worried... More

I've sampled pizza all over the country and with the exception of one location in Marion, Illinois, Wells Bros. tops them all. The crust is outstanding and the flavor is great. It's easy to make good pizza, but it's really hard to make great pizza. Wells Bros pizza consistently delivers time and time again. I don't even know what any... More

I was fortunate to grow up in Racine which has several outstanding thin crust pizza joints such as Infusino's, Derango's, Ferraro's, and Dino's. I have had them all and I can honestly say that Well's Brothers is the best, hands down. The crust is just, for lack of a better adjective, incredible. So thin, so crunchy, with just the right... Wells Brothers Restaurant may be best known for its pizza, but its soups and Italian dishes are superior. The thin crust pizza had a fine crisp crust but the sauce was much too sweet. It reminded me of French Canadian pizza, more than New York pizza. The meatballs and sauce, on the other hand, were excellently prepared. A choice of... More

Just finished a fish dinner here. Tuesday night and a waiting list tells you it's good. Should have tried the Brat pizza...sounded really good! The blue gill fish was good, drinks are well done, bomber sandwich looked awesome.
