Classic Racine

This place is Racine in a nutshell. Very old decor and seems it hasn't changed in 100 years. That's not a bad thing when it comes to the food though. The building could be on fire and I'd still go for the prime rib. Very, very good. Looked like something from the Flintstones the first time I went... read more

This place is a longtime Racine institution. They've made it as long as they have by, quite simply, making amazing food. I can honestly say that their prime rib is the best I have had in my entire life. The Corner House is brilliant at the basics and won't try to dazzle you with some exotic sounding sauce drizzled on... More

If visiting racine and you want the best food in town. Cornerhouse is the place to go. Known for their prime rib which is as good if not better than any other in the world. All menu items are excellent. With a full salad, get Al's dressing, not on the menu but a hidden gem for locals and a choice... More

I've been to the Corner House on numerous occasions spanning a period of over 30 years. During this time I have always experienced great food and service and I would come to the Corner House with family or friends anytime I wanted to enjoy a superior dining experience. My opinion of this restaurant has changed dramatically over the past month... More

There was nothing above average about our groups dinner. Prices were a bit high but not out of line. We had the veal Parmesan served with spaghetti. The veal was very tende, but the angel hair pasta came with a very thin and tasteless red sauce. We also had the shrimp, broccoli served over wide egg noodles with Allfredo sauce... More

My wife and I wanted to expand our horizons so we decided to give this place a try for a fish fry. We had previously tried their prime rib so we knew the place was not going to be a total wash-out. We got there early, no reservations so we went to the bar to wait. Very friendly barkeep! After... More

This was always the place for prime rib. Lately, I think that they have changed their meat purveyor because I have gotten some tough cuts, even though they use the top roaster available. This is a supper club atmosphere. Service staff is adequate. Bar service is always great as one of the owners is usually behind the bar.

This to me is a nightclub type setting. No frills. Ordered the prime rib and it was so tasty. Comes with the usual sides baked potato and cup of soup or glass of tomato juice. Salad was same ol iceburg lettuce. But its all about the prime rib and its great
