Breakfast Only!

I haven't been to Robert's Roost in 2 years but decided to make the trip from Skokie with my husband for a little getaway. The place is still the same. The prices are reasonable. The hours are 6 -1 and we barely made it in....we saw others being turned away....I think the least they could do is... read more

We really like Robert's Roost although it only serves breakfast food....but fabulous breakfast food indeed. A Bloody Mary Bar, home made donuts and a charming environment. Robert's Roost is a wonderful addition to the 6th Street restaurants and provides a marvelous place to go for breakfasts and at brunch time. It's so popular that there are sometimes waiting lines. And... More

There is no question you will have one of the best breakfasts ever so head over to Robert's Roost. The owner Paul and his staff are as good as it gets. If it is a Sunday morning their Bloody Mary's are outstanding !!!!!!!!!!!!

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The restaurant is really cute and quaint. I has the French toast which was delicious. My granddaughter had the lemon blueberry pancakes and they were amazing too. Great service too. We will definitely go back.

I have visited Robert's Roost quite a few times since my previous review about 1 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately, as much as I want to support local places, this restaurant is not someplace I will go to again. The service is sooo slow, the coffee is cold, and I think the cook cooks one order at a time, slowly. I... More

Great Eggs Benedict and Super Large drinks!! Bloody Mary's are excellent (served in a large Mason jar). They have small Mason jars for beverages as well, which kids like. We ordered Eggs Benedict, pancakes and French Toast. All was very good. A friend was shocked I liked the Benny's because I make my own and she described me as an... More

Been for breakfast a few times. The food is ok....nothing really to rave about. I've only had the veggie omelette which is decent...set on top of basic hash browns accompanied by some plain Jane bread...served on an extremely small plate. We do or did love the Bloody Mary's yet never liked the fact that the "do your own" garnishings were... More

Roberts Roost is a small place that specializes in breakfasts - This past Sunday was my third visit to "the roost" and as always the food was fantastic, mostly. This time I was joined by my financee and her parents. We were seated after a few minute wait - a table needed to be cleared - Our server promptly stopped... More

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. You won't be disappointed! It has a unique farm decore and the staff is pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend it!
