Worked great for a large diverse group

We had a group of 15 ranging in age from 2 to 82. Everyone found something delicious. There was a nice selection of beers and the waitstaff did great job. The interior doesn't absorb sound, since it was very busy, it was very loud inside.

All 4 of us had the perch fish fry. Yum was the resounding comments. 2 had the "must try" brandy old fashion sweet with olives and enjoyed them also. We all topped the meal sharing keylime pie. There was a reggae band playing but we wanted to wander the town. However we returned for nightcaps at the bar. A must... More

Each time we visit our Germantown/Hubertus/Milwaukee relatives, we make it a point to drive to PW for lunch. And this place is our automatic destination. The seafood chowder is simply something you don't find everywhere. Every bite is creamy and packed with seafood goodies. And a must have dish for my father is the Schaum Torte. It's a huge serving... Really LOUD and warm. They seated the 5 of us at a table for 4 in the back room so we were practically part of the adjoining table. Staff member dropped a whole tray of dishes on the floor which set off the baby in the group. Then a tour group was seated in the back room and it got... More

My husband and I shared a great bottle of wine and dinner while looking out at Lake Michigan. The service was great and the atmosphere relaxing. We will return!!

Deterred from taking a beach and lighthouse walk by a steady rain, we decided to stop in for coffee and dessert with a lake view. Sitting in the bar area, we had a great view of Lake Michigan and Port Washington's picturesque lighthouse. Service was friendly and our pie and coffee were even better than expected. We've been here several... More

Was handed menus upon entry and told to wait 20 minutes or sit at the bar. Walked the bar, all seats full so returned to the harried receptionist after 4 reservations were just taken while we searched for bar seats. Decided to wait. Went back to the bar for a drink, waited 10 minutes for the surly bartender. Still graciously... More

I went here while my wife was sitting in the hotel working. I visited many other places that were closed and this was only 6pm. I stumbled upon this place by the marina and the food was great. The service was fantastic and the setting with the view was great too. Definitely I would go here again in the future.... More

We visited Newport Shores based in part on reviews from trip advisor. All in all the location is nice, right on Lake Michigan by the harbor. I must say that I was disappointed in the food. Some of the dishes are ambitious, but poorly executed. My Blue Marlin special was overdone and lacked seasoning. My son's mozzarella sticks were cold... More

We went for the first time April 24th. The food was very good. We each at a perch sandwich. This does come with potato chips. Our waitress was excellent and had been there over20 years. We had perch sandwhich and a order of onion rings. The bill for the 2 of us was $25. Chips also came with the sandwich.... More
