Used to go every year for our anniversary .But after paying $160.00 For lobster last year we no longer can afford to go there. They always had the very best lobster, but we are seniors and just wont pay that anymore. Too sad as we loved going there. Otherwise food was always good.

The Port Hotel offers a very nice quaint dining experience with soft music in the background. Dinners included soup or salad, choice of potato and warm bread. The pan fried walleye was superb as well as the spinach salad. The bar was out of the 2 things I requested. Waitress was not the friendliest but food and place great and... More

We reserved a room at the Inn as a last-minute get-away. This is not a large, fancy hotel, but rather a small, quaint Inn located in downtown Port Washington. Our room included a huge Kohler shower (room for two) and a beautiful four-poster king bed. The bed was comfortable, but not as comfortable as our Sleep Number bed at home.... More

We ordered the hot bacon dressing on spinach and it came in jellied lumps. It obviously was not heated enough to dissolve the juices and was barley warm. There were no boiled egg in it either. Our meals were average. My 2 lamb chops were more rare than medium rare and very fatty. They were listed as $20.95 on their... More

Casual dress is acceptable but the food is prepared and served as if you were in a five star restaurant. We had the oyster Rockerfellow that was everything you would expect. Our main meals of steak and shrimp were done just as ordered. Looking forward to coming back here.

Eight of us had Dinner at he hotel. We waited at the bar and the bartender has a great personality and mixes good drinks. The food was quite good and the service was excellent. The old hotel is charming and the atmosphere very comfortable..Prices reasonable.

We did not eat in the restaurant; however, we were staying at the hotel so we stopped down in the bar for a drink. Tom, the bartender, was extremely friendly and fun. Great service.

Once upon a time it was great. That time has come and gone. Out dated, mediocre at best food, and a "The customer is always wrong" attitude. In July 2014 we walked right in on the busiest day of the year in Port Washington - Fish Days. That should have told us something. The decor is old and not welcoming.... More

We took our whole family to the restaurant. The two kids, teen and preteen loved the steak. The waitress was very attentive. The kids enjoyed the experience. Three of us had prime rib. It was spectacular. They were out of pork chops so I chose the Chicken Wellington. It was very good.

The Port Hotel is my favorite dining spot in our area. We have been dining here for many years because we can always count on great food and service. My favorite is the Planked Whitefish, which is only served on Wednesdays; my husband loves their Prime Rib. Their liver pate appetizer is a "must" every time we come here. It... More
