We did not eat in the restaurant; however, we were staying at the hotel so we stopped down in the bar for a drink. Tom, the bartender, was extremely friendly and fun. Great service.

Once upon a time it was great. That time has come and gone. Out dated, mediocre at best food, and a "The customer is always wrong" attitude. In July 2014 we walked right in on the busiest day of the year in Port Washington - Fish Days. That should have told us something. The decor is old and not welcoming.... More

We took our whole family to the restaurant. The two kids, teen and preteen loved the steak. The waitress was very attentive. The kids enjoyed the experience. Three of us had prime rib. It was spectacular. They were out of pork chops so I chose the Chicken Wellington. It was very good.

The Port Hotel is my favorite dining spot in our area. We have been dining here for many years because we can always count on great food and service. My favorite is the Planked Whitefish, which is only served on Wednesdays; my husband loves their Prime Rib. Their liver pate appetizer is a "must" every time we come here. It... More

Awful experience. Pork chops not able to cut. Ann suggested we reorder. Took the BBQ ribs. Came COLD. My wife's was nothing but fat under the BBQ sauce. They acknowledged they knew the chops were tough(!!!) and Ann saw the the fat. No mention of a comp, nothing offered! Paid dinner prices for soup salad and tea. Hear this place... More

It's been years since I last dined at the Port Hotel. My memories are of the fun we had at their bar and the special occasions when we had steak and lobster combos for dinner. And the complimentary lazy susan that was on the dinner table with olives and liver pate and other pickled vegetables. I don't know if dinner... More

Hotel has charming old victorian feel to it. The rooms are beautiful The food is always good. Can get crowded on Sundays and holidays. Have some very good happy hour deals too.

Included in our Groupon gift. The breakfast was complimentary with our gift. It was buffet style, with about half of the food looking completely unappetizing. There was a made-to-order waffle and omelet bar though. Waffles were good, omelet was ok.

Ate here over long weekend stay. Two dinners. Both pretty decent but had some poor choices of sides, overpriced wine list for average wine. Great soups both nights though and we enjoyed it. Brunch here was awesome with best bacon ever cooked in brown sugar -not to be missed!

We ate an evening meal - we were staying at the Port Hotel-I had liver and onions-totally delicious and hubby had lamb shank-yum,yum. The atmosphere is intimate, the service friendly and the food that we ordered DELICIOUS
