I had read a number of great reviews here on TripAdvisor, so my husband and I stopped in this restaurant for dinner. The food was good, and the staff were friendly .... but if you do go here, we would recommend asking to be seated on the right-hand side, away from the pub area. We were sitting near the pub,... I am very pleased to hear you enjoyed your meal and our staff. Please stop in again as it is very rare for our bar patrons to be on the loud side. More

Several months before dining (and lodging) at 52 Stafford, I had the good fortune to spend a week in southwest Ireland. I'm happy to report that both the fine fare and the warm hospitality compared very favorably to the what I experienced in Counties Clare, Kerry and Cork. Our dinner here was the perfect complement to our weekend getaway at... More

The bar remind you of an Irish Pub and that is the feel of the entire hotel. The food is delicious and service is friendly. Menu is great.

I've eaten at this place a dozen times and never had anything that wasn't fantastic. And the staff is amazing. You won't find a better combination of food, drinks and service nearby guaranteed.

This is a unique building in Plymouth. It has been several different things in it history but the current phase has been around for over 25 years. Restaurant is good and the pub has several different beers on tap. Live music on Wednesday nights is always good.

52 Stafford is in an attractive old building. We were seated in a separate back room rather than the front dining area, but that was fine. I really enjoyed the fish and chips. It's hard to find cod with good batter, and this was excellent. My husband enjoyed his corned beef and cabbage. Service was friendly and attentive. The waitress... More

We had a good meal there, the lake perch fish fry on Friday was really good at a good price. Our health conscious friends had the baked fish and said it was very good. The real attraction to this place is the hotel itself. Lovingly restored by the owners, the bar is cozy and friendly with great Irish and local... More

The dinner was a little pricey for what we were served. Atmospher is very nice. We enjoyed the Irish coffee. The entrance is difficult for persons with mobility concerns.
