I visited this restaurant on a bussiness trip, the food was average, the restaurant clean, and their staff very friendly.
The 4 cheese macaroni with Honey Pepper Chicken was real tasty. They give you a good amount of food for your money. I however, added a side dish of mixed vegetables which consisted of carrots, corn broccoli and peppers (I believe) and you could've gotten better in a hospital cafeteria! No seasonings, corn was cooked until absolutely NO sweetness remained.
Food was good, service was fast but the Margaritas were terrible. Way too sweet of a mix in a very large glass that diluted the liquor.
we ate here twice during our stay at La Quinta that was across the parking lot. we were seated right away, even though it looked like it was busy. waitresses were great, food was good, typical for applee's any were. never had a bad experience here. we did notice on the table was not if you were not told about... My wife and I ran over here as we were staying right next door at the La Quinta. The waitress was great and the whole place had a very neighborhood feel to it.
The food at this restaurant was really bad... Nothing like what shown on the menu... That's all I can say. The waitress was however friendly....
Applebees is the same everywhere. It is a typical restaurant you find in chains. Service is good. Food is good. Value reasonable. All these make for an average, typical chain. Not much to review or set apart.
The $1.99 Long Island Tea was GREAT! Try the new breadsticks and beer cheese! It's to die for!!! The server was good and the crunchy shrimp dinner I had was over 15 pieces of shrimp and cooked perfectly!
If you want volumes of food and want to know what to expect, this is the place. But if you are looking for interesting local dining this is not it!
If you can't find something you want to eat at Applebee's then you are way too picky. Lots of good choices from many different types of food from steak to Mexican to salads and fantastic boneless wings. Unfortunately, almost everything is too salty for my taste (not that this keeps me from eating it anyway).
