It was 1974 when our country had its first gas crisis. The price of gasoline was skyrocketing, gas stations were closing nationwide, and carmakers began exploring how to develop cars that got better mileage. But for George "Jig" Warren III and Gary "Moe" Meszaros, it wasn't about better mileage or for that matter even obeying the new 55 M.P.H speed limit. It was about finding a home to preserve the culture of those old gas stations and high-powered muscle cars. So was born Quaker Steak & Lube(R), a "Cook Your Own Steak" restaurant that gave old muscle cars a permanent home, which included a 1936 Chevrolet, frozen in time on the original hydraulic grease rack. It is from these beginnings that the Quaker Steak & Lube(R) family of restaurants began. Today, "The Lube(R)" serves over 80 million wings annually, has bottled sauces for retail sale, has won the title of "Best Wings USA," and has hundreds of local, national, and international awards for their sauce recipes. Over 60 locations throughout the United States and Canada, "The Lube(R)" is still rescuing muscle cars, vintage cars, trucks and a vast selection of custom and antique motorcycles, giving them good homes hanging from the walls and ceilings in each restaurant.

Excellent place to bring the family. My son and I got the wings (of course) and both of us were very satisfied after licking the last bone and with sauce all over our hands and mouth. The wings go great with the onion rings too.

When I have stopped in after work with friends I thought it to pricey and chose not to have a meal, just apps. When my husband & I came back we enjoyed our meals. The Prices were Kind of expensive, luckily we had a coupon that made the cost more palatable. Like the food but, wont dine there without a... More

Have stoped in many times since they moved in. Fish fry (not on the menu, you have to ask for it) is good but not great. The pub food is where they shine. Good variation of beers on tap, and good sele tion of burgers. Service is always slow and at time dead slow. You can use the time to... More

I've ordered online 2-3 times. If you have special requests be prepared for mix ups. The food is average. They are supposed to be noted for their wings. I found the wings to be average as well. The deep fried pickles are whole pickle spears and the breading comes off. The fries are limp by the time I arrive home... More

2nd time here. Nice that next to holiday inn express so can walk. Love the appetizer pretzels with beer cheese. Fried pickles also good but prefer side slices instead of long way slice. Had ribs and wing combo. Excellent. Would highly recommend. Had steak last time but a little to much garlic spice for me. Could not keep leftovers in... More

Stopped here for lunch while on business. I ordered a burger and it was cooked perfectly, very good. The appetizer fried pickles was also very good. The atmosphere of the place is really fun, with motorcycles hanging from the ceiling and a certain sports and motor vibe to the place. We both enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back

This is a great place to eat, but it's a little expensive for the quantity of food you get. I'd go there again if I had a coupon.....wings are very good, as are the sandwiches.

I have been here a few times in the last month. Service at the bar is usually pretty good and they have a good selection of craft beers. Their food is good, but I personally think the wings are overrated. Every time I have ordered them they are a bit greasy. Dining room service on my last visit was ok,... More

This place has great food for all types from wings to steaks. Join there loyality program to save extra money. It a great place to watch games or play trivia. My favorite dish is there Asian bowl with my favorite sauce. Prices range from $7 to $13 on average.
