We had great service & food was good. Drinks were also great. Staff is very personable. Would definitely eat here again.

We went twice. It was good both times. We had steak salad, chef salad, chili one trip, fried walleye for dinner another day.

Although the service was great here and the atmosphere warm and cozy, the food was average and pricey. Strawberry dessert was great.

Stopped in for lunch while shopping downtown Minocqua. Good food, service was good. Got seated right away and food was fast.

Have eaten here a few times. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Minocqua. The building is an old bar- great woodwork. Food is good (my family tells me the French Onion Soup is the best they have ever had- and they eat it everywhere!), prices are ok. I think they could make this a spectacular experience but instead it... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch on Labor Day. The is an older place, kind of dark inside but very attractive with a fine old bar. My wife had the special of the day, grilled ham and cheese which she said was excellent and I had chili over macaroni with onion, sour cream and cheese, which was quite satisfying. Service... More

Though the atmosphere is nice and our server was very sweet and prompt the food was pretty close to awful... My husband and I each had one of the two specials, one a chicken the other a fish. Both were bland, coming with mashed potatoes from a box, mushy veggies, hardly editable and way over priced. Really a shame because... More

We were walking along downtown and happened to see this restaurant. The people in front of us said it was very good, so we took a chance and went in. I had the chicken piccata, which was excellent. My companion had the walleye and he enjoyed that as well. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant when I... More

We liked this restaurant. It is dated to be sure, but the ambiance is nice. More importantly, it struck me as much cleaner than many similar places. The food was not spectacular, but it was good and seemed fresh The value for the money seemed fair. The service was a little slow, but I think it was an attempt not... More
