We are a Wisconsin microbrewery and restaurant located in downtown Minocqua. We offer a variety of different ales, trending from light and easy-drinking, smooth amber styles and the rotating darks. Always 6-8 different craft beers on tap at all times. We are not a fine dining restaurant, but offer up our own twist on American classics and evening entrees after 4:30 p.M. Live Music every Friday and Saturday in our upstairs lounge. If you are coming onto the island from the north, we are on east side of Hwy. 51 South, next to Torpy Park. We do have on site parking, while also being close in proximity to downtown parking lots. From the lake, we are in what is known as "Save More Bay." Our docks are capable of handling four-to-six watercraft depending on size.

Good Burger, Good soup, Good Beer

I stopped here while in town on a work trip last week. I had the Mediteranean(spp?) burger, Smoked Gouda Soup, and a 23 oz pale ale. All we're very good. The burger was nothing like any burger I had tried before, but I would definitely order again. The atmosphere and staff were great as well... read more

This was located in a good location, near downtown Minoqua. Enjoyed some good beer, nice staff, good cheese curds. Also was very handy to a walking, bike path.

I have eaten here at least 4 times over the past year. I have always wanted to love this place but just have never been impressed. Stopped in for a lunch as I was passing through on business. Thought I would try it alone and judge it for a review. It was the Thursday after new years. The place was... More

I understood the wait but we were both quite hungry and then they messed up my wife's order. We just rolled with it but then they wanted to charge us essentially the same price for less food. Kind of frustrating and I told them I would write up a review reflecting this. Waitress just shrugged.

Always love to have dinner or lunch at Minocqua Brewing. My favorite is the Tuna Carpaccio and I had it again last evening. My wife enjoys the wild rice veggie burger with olive tapanade. Beer there is always great. Service is wonderful especially Jodi. Highly recommend MBC.

Visited three times while in town. The food was really good and we had great service each time we were there. It was family friendly, we were able to take our toddler with us. I really enjoyed the fish tacos, which were the special one of the nights. Very nice view as well.

We arrived at 4pm with 4 adults and toddler in hand and we were immediately seated with our drink and appetizer orders taken. Our drinks and appetizers arrived pretty promptly about 10 min or less after ordering: ordered the microbrewed beer and the cheese curds, which were pretty good. I had ordered the fish and chips and everyone else had... More

We stopped here for lunch over thanksgiving break. Lunch was wonderful! Great food, good prices and excellent service. started with cheese curds and they didn't disappoint:) and father in law had the fish and chips which were really good. Burgers were good, great beer choices and overall would highly recommend.

Went in on the advice of our motel. The micro brew was good. Service was good but they didn't seem to busy so wouldn't expect anything else. Drinks and appetizer came out promptly and was very good with good presentation. The burger was very large but could've used some seasoning. The perch were very good as was the sauce that... More

We went on a girls weekend here. Started out with bloody Mary's very good. Everyone's food was also very good. I had the artichoke au gratin for an appetizer definfinely recommend. Our waitress sorry for the loss of name but she was excellent. Food, service and atmosphere perfect. My friends said this was a good choice.
