Food wasn't that great other than the fact that the sandwiches were on good homemade bread. A little expensive for what you get. Coffee and ice teas were 1.75 each and they never asked us if we wanted a refill.

We stopped there few days ago and it was great! Places like that make Minocqua an amazing vacation spot ;D
Everytime we visit Minoqua, we always make sure we go to Ella's restaurant. It's very charming and warm feeling. The appetiser, Raspberry and Goat cheese crostini was amazing! OMG!! For the main course I chose Penne Gratinata and my husband chose Teriyaki and Honey glazed salmon. The aromas and flavors of these two dishes were amazing. Chef Steve came out...

We had a wonderful experience in the North woods at Ella's Restaurant, Hwy 51 N, Minocqua, Wi.
This beautiful little restaurant had the best squash soup with blue cheese crumbles we've ever tasted. Our entree was also outstanding (Penna Gratinata s.p.) and the prices were amazingly affordable! The restaurant was clean and beautiful with great service. If you're lucky enough...

I was vacationing in Minocqua, WI in December and between snowmobiling and shopping in some quaint shops, I stopped into Ella's Restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming and the smells were mouth-watering. I have never written a review before but this restaurant is too good not to share! I had a great meal and I highly recommend the butternut squash soup....

Limited menu but reliable place for a sandwich or salad. The presence of the owner/chef and attention to details recommend this family style restaurant for a casual meal.
Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service (our waitress, Michelle, remembered from one visit to the next all our specific perks, she is the best) Liked it so much we went there for breakfast/brunch 4 times in the week we were up in the Northwood’s. We will be returning there all the time we are up North. What a great Sister's...

This place used to one of our stops on the way up north every year. However after eating there recently it will no longer be one. The restaurant was sparse with customers but it took forever to get our food which was very poor quality tasting. We also heard a customer complain about his food which no question he was...

The staff was great , the food was very good and the desserts were excellent. I will come back here again for sure
After seeing that this establishment had a new owner and chef, we decided to give it a try again. We had poor experiences here in the past. How can you screw up breakfast? They did. My eggs and my husband's omelet were overcooked. My bacon was undercooked and greasy. (Not drained) We paid extra for a very small amount of...
