Absolutely fantastic! Order anything with confidence and enjoy. This is where "the locals" eat! Just for breakfast and lunch though.

The menu had a wide variety of offerings. They also have a tea menu. We only had chili which was somewhat pricy. The menu items I saw at other tables looked very good.

We've been coming here for years as we have a year round second home. Although it is our "go to" restaurant (especially for breakfast) I'm getting rather perturbed at the prices and some of the servers. I used to think it was worth the extra $ for the great food. I think prices have gone up and for what? The... More

This is an excellent restaurant masquerading as a diner. We've been here a few times and every entree, soup, and sandwich we've had has been delicious.

Good quality Lox, bagel leaves a bit to be desired, ok if you get it toasted well. Big capers come with. If only they'd slice the red onion thinner this would be a very good bagel/lox breakfast. They also serve an Etouffee omelette, I'm not an omelette fan so I ask sometimes for the etoufee over their dense biscuits. Prices... More

Nice little restaurant with a down town location. We had breakfast and loved it. This will be on our must stop list when in the area.

We've been going to the Island Cafe for years. Their prices have continually crept up, but today was our last visit. $12.75 for a bowl of oatmeal....there are other options in town that don't gouge travelers.

Food is very good and everything is made with a gourmet flair. Be prepared to pay the gourmet price though - it will be worth it!!!

A great place to eat… we go there frequently when we're in town because we know we won't get a bad meal there. Very good menu, salad bar is set up for lunch. GREAT fruit plates! Average service, could be a bit more friendly. I think this restaurant is owned and operated by people from Greece, and the waitresses are... More
