Breakfast

Very clean and quaint. Good friendly service. Food was good but not excellent. Looks like they had very good bakery items but we didn't try them.

We stopped in for breakfast on our way home after a wonderful weekend in Minocqua. We had the best server. My husband had the eggs benedict and I had the gyro omelet. Excellent breakfast and service. We will be back!!!!!!

Consistently, this has been my favorite lunch place in the Northwoods for the past 20 years. The menu is varied, healthy, quality ingredients, but most of all, TASTY. The service is great too. There is something for everyone and every taste. One of our favorite is the vegetable baguette, served on a plate filled with fruits that always taste as... More

My family of four went there on a Sunday close to noon. We had already had breakfast so we wanted lunch. After waiting for a table and seated, we were handed breakfast menus. When asked about lunch we were informed they only served breakfast and did so till 1 o'clock. We did not want a second breakfast so we walked... More

Nice relaxing cafe; Friendly wait staff; The atmosphere is that of a small family type restaurant where the locals eat. Only problem I have is that they are only open from 7:30 am to 2:59 pm so if you want dinner there you'll be out of luck. Good food with prompt service.

We had breakfast here and the food was not what we expected to be on the main street. Greasy, small portions and expensive. You would be better off going to McDonalds. Unwelcoming service

We were once again riding the Bearskin Trail and once again needed a place to eat. We skipped past the chains and fast food places and found the Island Cafe. The atmosphere isn't much but that's not what matters. What does matter is the food and in that, the Island Cafe scored high. Our servers took our orders quickly and... More

We arrived and didn't have chains for our bicycles so we sat outside on their patio. Beautiful day for it! The waitress came out and stated, "patio is closed today", then walked back inside. Nothing else was said. She didn't offer to seat us inside or anything. Just walked away rudely. It's a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon. We then contemplated... More

Our waitress was very nice and helpful. It was packed when we were in and our breakfast came out quickly!! We would definitely go back.
