Some unusual but inviting choices

First, the atmosphere is amazing. The restaurant is smaller than I pictured it - not like the many large brewpubs I have visited elsewhere. The stone walls, timber ceiling, and old bar which lines one entire wall are charming. I felt like I'd stepped into a pub in the English countryside... read more

To start, I must say that the London Porter was excellent. My wife's Shandy was also really good. But, alas that's where the goodness ended. I ordered the pan-fried catfish that was, well, soggy. I think it could have actually been good, if it was just prepared a little better. The catfish itself was fresh and the coating was tasty,... More

I found this to be several steps above bar food. Firstly, the historic building is gorgeous inside. Secondly, the service and server (Brittany) were friendly, welcoming, and competent. Thirdly, all of our dishes were awesome. We ordered chicken breast sandwich, a haystack burger, and a beef & veggie pasty. The haystack was served on a Clasen's bun with slender onion... More

Ate dinner here during our weekend workshop getaway at the Shakerag Art Center. The waitstaff was excellent as was the delicious food. Highly recommend!

I would love to support a locally owned business however I question their policies. Mineral Point needs successful eateries and it seems that Brewery Creek is able to manage to find their niche customers. Food is creative and craft beer is brewed on site. I have visited the pub a number of times however was turned away on a beautiful... More

This food here was so much more than we expected. I had a diner salad with the horseradish cranberry dressing and the Pesto Alfredo Pasta. Their pesto is made with walnuts and cilantro, initially I was concerned that it might be overpowering, but it was perfect. My companion had the Wild Salmon salad with caper dressing and he was impressed.... More

My husband and I dine at the pub almost every Friday night, food is great. The atmosphere is very nice, floor is heated in the winter, nice touch, only wine and beer are served at this restaurant, no hard liquor.

We ate here twice during our stay in Mineral Point on the weekend of the fall studio tour. All establishments were busy, but the very friendly hostess was well-organized and gave us accurate waiting times. We went up the street for a drink and came back and were immediately seated. We shared a burger and each had a side one... More

I visited Brewery Creek Brewpub on a Thursday evening with 4 colleagues. I thoroughly enjoyed the Brewery Creek Burger. Nothing fancy, just a strait-up grass-fed beef patty, delicious and tender, an excellent bun, delicious boutique bacon, and cheese. Quality ingredients, producing a delightful burger. For a side I was much surprised by the sweet and light corn cake, which was... More

My expectations were, frankly, managed when we stepped into this place. It was very crowded, there was a nice buzz happening in the room, and the staff appeared to be quite busy. We were seated quickly, and a waitress immediately came by for a drink order. She was neither flustered nor fast about her delivery or her service - it... More
