Happening spot!

Great spot for a drink and a bite to eat after a concert at the Riverside Theater. Great menu and drinks are fab! Music is loud but fun.

I enjoyed my dinner after the symphony with my friend decided to go there by myself. I wasn't able to open the glasses doors. Here I am in my motorized wheelchair struggle to open up the door while the staff watches me. I didn't realize that the staff is that stuffy but they are. I didn't want to break the... More

we visit Milwaukee every year for a long weekend and always look forward to stopping at Elsa's. We went again tonight and enjoyed it once again, patty melt and nachos. Great service, friendly welcome, good mood.

I've been to Elsa's on several occasions, for lunch, dinner and drinks, but most recently for lunch. We've liked this spot because it has great food - sandwiches and small plates top the favorites list. The atmosphere has a high-end feel, a bit pretentious in my opinion. We've tolerated this because the food, while very good quality, doesn't reflect the... More

I went to Elsa's on a recommendation of a local who said "they have good food". Walking in you get the impression of a lively, upscale atmosphere, promising. I had to stop a waitress to ask to be seated, no maître Dee. The menu is very strange. Mostly burgers or some other kind of sandwich served in a silver basket,... More

Great atmosphere, great service and amazing burgers! Was expecting more of a "bar look" and the high ceilings and décor made it look very high end and expensive, which it was not. Very affordable. The front section was a little loud for my taste, but we found a small table in the back so we could eat and talk. Patty... More

This is one of my favorite places to grab a burger in all of Milwaukee. The ambiance is fantastic. And while you can absolutely show up dressed to the nines and feel comfortable, you'll feel just as comfortable in jeans. It's a great place to go with friends, on a date, have a business meeting, you name it! Oh, and... More

I love Elsa's and have been going there for years, but I will never go after 8pm again!!! I was there with a nice group of friends trying to enjoy my evening and we were next to a table of extremely loud women with tastless straws hanging out of their martini glasses screaming profanity! Even the server looked flustered! the... More

I generally don't review restaurants. I use Tripadvisor to track hotels so I can remember which I liked and disliked for future stays. However, I often remember a great restaurant but can't recall where it was when I get back to town. So - I'm noting a few of the restaurants that were worth remembering. This place was fantastic. I... More

My friend and I ate at Elsa's for dinner. We started off with a couple of cocktails and an appetizer. We ordered the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts for an appetizer-they were so good! My friend had a dirty martini and I ordered a Moscow mule-both were great! For dinner I ordered the Bigger Mac burger. It was amazing! I think it... More
