Delicious!

Comet has always been my friends favorite restaurant and when she finally brought me there I understood why. Their mac and cheese is amazing! Also, breakfast is always good. It's hard to resist their pie, my favorite is peach raspberry a la mode.

Great vegetarian chilli! Good food. Not so expensive. Great atmosphere. No much parking, just street.

The Comet Cafe has probably the best vegetarian food in Milwaukee. Everything is fresh and delicious. Many of the entrees have vegan options (try the Reuben, the Seitan Pork Sandwich and the Vegan Gyros). All wonderful. They also have fabulous vegetarian specials on certain nights (the Friday night Shepherds' Pie was probably the best meal I ever had - and... More

Parking around this place is difficult. But if you do find a spot, the bar food is tasty and unpretentious. Not to mention CHEAP for the quantity they serve. Artichoke-spinach dip is absolutely great. The meatloaf is good ($12), the burgers are a good choice as well. It is not a WOW experience, but you won't be disappointed.

The diner is very casual and cozy. This is a very small place, so expect to wait. The service was wonderful--very friendly. Parking is on the street, so you may have to drive around a bit to find a place to park especially on the weekends. You may also have to walk a couple of blocks. We enjoyed our breakfast... More

Great beer (on tap), spicy kale and potato soup with AJ's Thanksgiving Dinner and I am one happy guy. A must try if in the greater Milwaukee area.

The Comet was featured on DDD on the Food Network a couple of years ago. Cafe is eclectic. Seating is counter, tables and booths. We arrived at ten and waited about ten minutes. Yummy looking cupcakes and pies are front and center in a glass case as you wait to be seated. Bloody Mary's are excellent. Our group enjoyed bacon... More

My husband saw an episode of Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins which featured the Comet Cafe and wanted to check it out. The place was packed but thankfully we found a place at the counter. The cafe has a great vibe and the waiter we had was very friendly and provided great service. I ordered the special which was a half... More

Oh, my gosh! I had the "Fruit Fest" for breakfast which consisted of fruit, yogurt and granola. I must say this is the best combination I have had for breakfast. My son had the veggie omelet and granddaughter had an egg plate, all of which were delicious. service was terrific as was the coffee. Very reasonable priced and I highly... More

I had the meatloaf and it was probably the best other than my Mothers. The food all seemed homemade and the board indicated locally sourced. Found it as a Diner, Drive In and Dive place. It met all the qualifications.
