Pretty Good

I enjoyed the food here quite a bit, the food was in generous portions, reasonably priced, and pretty decent burgers. I think the food is comparable to other area burger joints, and the atmosphere is pleasant for a night with friends. Not a huge fan of the service.

Visited for the first time a couple weeks ago, the second time a couple days ago. Found the food to be good but not as good as expected based other reviews. No complaints about the quantity of food or the price. Definitely not a "white tablecloth" restaurant but nothing wrong with that. It is small, unique, and crowded on weekends. We... More

Went here with family after the Marquette game for lunch.Typical comfort food.We had the turkey and beef sandwiches .Both were very good. The wife had a blackberry and blueberry pie and the rest of us had the cupcakes.Again the deserts were excellent .The problem is not the food ,but the restaurant itself. It started with the table which rocked like crazy .Drove... This place is just fantastic. They have a great beer and cocktail selection, with an emphasis on local brewers. I can always count on Comet to have something interesting and delicious that has been brewed in Wisconsin. The real reason I drive here from Chicago is for the pie, though. Their pie is out of this world. I'm vegan, so... More

Artichoke melt. Get it. You won't regret it. Didn't come here to eat healthy and I would recommend you don't either. The "spicy" fries are Cajun seasoned and really pack a punch so just know that going into it. Guy Fieri was clutch in coming here. Two thumbs up.

Our "go to" spot when we are in Milwaukee. It's hard for our family to agree on any one restaurant because we have a vegan, a meat lover (me), a beer drinker (me!!), carbo lovers, and sweet toothers. The Comet satisfies us all. My daughter raves about their vegetarian substitutions on their really creative and delicious menu. Recently, my wife... More

My daughter and I were in Milwaukee recently and had heard about this place, so we stopped by and enjoyed the great food and service! She is Vegan, so she enjoyed the meatless ribs and sauce! I had the chili bowl with cheese, sour cream, noodles and onion! We also shared a slice of coconut cream pie! The workers seem... More

I went with a dear friend who samples all the best spots in town. He's almost always spot-on with his choices. I gave this four stars based more on his experience than mine (he had the Leghorn sandwich). My omelette was just okay. A little flat and a little bland. The Bloody Mary was likewise okay but had some unusual... More

the ambience is great - grunge cafe from the 60's - i was there, i know! the drinks are fantastic - cutting edge and generous pours.... the food is out of this world....try the mac and cheese with bacon (to die for), the meatloaf cannot be beat and the turkey dinner is wonderful. we simply love this place and we... My wife and I went to the Oriental Theatre and we decided to eat dinner at the Comet before the movie. Great food and super nice staff. We both had the Turkey/Stuffing/potatoes ball, which tasted fantastic!
