I had the meatloaf and it was about the best meatloaf ever. I drank a local beer with it and it was hoppy, smooth and wonderful. Our server was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. I just don't know what more you could ask from a neighborhood corner cafe ... wish I could move it all to... More

The Comet Cafe is a great place. Hipsters and hippies, and the food is really good. We had Philly cheesesteak and cheesy mashed potatoes. Quality draft beer selection. I had a Sproose Joose IPA from Black Husky Brewing Company in Sheboygan. VERY local! You can't get it anywhere, They hand deliver the kegs in a pick-up truck! A must-stop place... More

Great, hip atmosphere. Lots of bacon. What could be better? The beer selection is wonderful and unique.

Went to the Comet Cafe for breakfast on a Saturday Morning. I had eggs and my wife had the pancakes. The service was very good but the food was was just average. I was looking forward to some great things after seeing the Diners Drive in and Dives show and the food did not live up to that.

They have a great breakfast and lunch menu plus a good bar staff. While I have not eaten dinner there yet I will as the dishes sound great!

Deep fried turkey meal! Great lamb stew. Very busy spot with friendly staff. Worth a wait or plan to go off peak and enjoy the food.

Bacon, (fried) egg, lettuce, and tomato sandwich & seasoned fries is awesome! Will definitely go back and try other dishes.

Try and go to the Comet Cafe every time I'm in Milwaukee. Tomato soup and grilled cheese ON THE MENU, not just a special is one of the things that gives this place a very home like feel. I have been impressed with the service and the food. The only thing is, if you come in with a negative attitude... More

Food was awful. Waitress could care less about our table and less about working. Alcoholic Beverages were not even sub par. The only thing good about the place... Was the cool baseball cards and extreme drink menu... Too bad they weren't mad correctly.

Cute little spot, great beer selection. Had huge portions for our meal. Very busy on Sat am. Come early or be prepared to wait.
