This is a convenient restaurant to several hotels within the downtown Milwaukee area. It has a decent size menu and typical steak house fare. The steaks are very good, but not quite on the level of Carnevor, Mo's, etc.Service is excellent.

My husband says this restaurant had one of the best steaks and Bernaise sauce he has ever had. I ordered the evening special, a duck souveed. Wasn't a favorite as I love duck, but guess I'm used to it roasted or crisped. Came with a dark cherry sauce that I did like. Rest of our meal was delightful, especially the... More

My husband and I love a good steak. At the recommendation of friends we tried out Mason Street Grill. My Blueberry Martini at the bar while we waited for friends to arrive, was delicious. Our appetizer was grilled a shrimp dish, that was good but not memorable. For entrees 2 of us had the filet, 1 had the 16 oz... More

I came in and sat at the bar expecting to get a burger. It was suggested that I get a steak instead because this place was "the best steakhouse in Milwaukee". I chose the signature Kansas City steak and the 3 for $15 sides. I wondered how on earth I would eat all that food. I was very surprised to... More

Every single bite was fabulous. We had the ahi tuna for dessert, each of us the fillet, 3 sides dishes that were served family style (mushrooms, brussel sprouts and the smashed potatos), and dessert. It was pricy ($200, with wine) but well worth it for a great night out.

Connected to the Hotel Pfister makes it convienent. Has a nice bar with an good bartender. The meals and service were excellent. The manager came to the table after the meal to make sure we were satisfied with our dining experience. We were very satisfied.

We went here on a sunday night for our anniversary, thinking we may be the only ones in the dining room--we were wrong, but that's certainly okay. We were served by Drew, who was excellent and charming and welcomed us with a glass of bubbly to toast. The service was just great and he provided great racommendations. We enjoyed the... More

Lunch at the Mason Street Grill was a wonderful experience. Elegant, comfortable room with a feeling of warmth and class. The menu had a good selection of items that would please every palate. We chose the steak salads. The steak was cooked to perfection atop a bed of lettuce with plenty of bacon & blue cheese. Paired with a nice... More

The steak was good. If you want to play it safe and don't mind paying a lot, this is a good place. But, if you want imaginative fare, don't bother. It is one of those places where the waiter tries to up-sell you on side dishes. Very traditional decor with pleated leather booths. Go on a business trip if someone... More

Enjoyed a great meal at Mason Street Grill with my son last week. Food was delicious. I had the rib-eye which was cooked perfectly. The Amish Roasted Chicken was excellent with very tender meat. Prices were high for deciding to eat out instead of at home. I couldn't afford to do this every night of the week, but it is... More
