If the Ratpack had been from Wisco they would have hung here

Stopped by for drinks and apps before The Replacements show. Old school supper club, very busy. Lucky to get seated at the bar. Drinks were reasonable, service was excellent. Lots of history on the walls, obviously a mainstay for locals. Wish we'd had more time to eat. Will be back.

If you love great food in a relaxing retro atmosphere, this is the place. Everything that is on the menu is fresh and delicious. Don't treat this as a "fast food" restaurant. There is a relish tray to enjoy with your favorite drink, then a salad bowl. Steaks are served to order. Desserts are home-made. The waitstaff is seasoned and... More

I made a reservation here for my daughter's birthday dinner. We chose this restaurant because they once had a place in Barrington, Illinois that we loved. NOT THE SAME!!!!! We arrived and were told to "sit at the bar" until our table was ready. Although we enjoy a cocktail, we did not want to 'sit at the bar'. All food... More

You are seated at the bar before you are seated in the restaurant. We had to pay for Cokes before being seated and were then charged for them again once at our table. I advised the waitress at the bar that I only wanted lettuce, cheese, and croutons on my salad. They don't have cheese or croutons, so I asked... More

Business colleagues made reservations and what a blast from the past including the relish tray! Great steak and also onion rings were very well done. Excellent old school Bloody Mary nice and spicy. Service was fun including rolling carts to deliver and take away the food. Oh and the asparagus were also very good. Loved the decor and the full... More

I'd read the reviews and was looking forward to dining at this popular, albeit quirky steakhouse. I must say...disappointing. The Bar. A good steakhouse should be able to make a good martini. False - simple dry martini up came to me like a slushy....bartender should the drink so hard it was incredible. Note to bartender: stir drinks with just alcohol,... More

This place is one of our favorite steak houses. Be prepared to have a reservation in advance or wait. First you sit at the bar until the waitress takes your order. When the salad is on your table, they come and seat you. Relish tray with pickles, peppers, etc and warm bread, along with several different dressings for your salad... More

This place is legit. From the old school bar area to the panel walls to some very classic old time cocktails they have the model down. The staff is so friendly and awesome. It's unique in the whole enter sit at the bar and order your food. Once the salad hits the table they bring you into the dining room... More

Came to Milwaukee for NYE get-a-way from Chicago. After much searching on the internet, found this incredible restaurant! Walking in is like entering your Grandma's basement at Christmas (YES, that is a good thing)! Checked in at the hostess desk and was told to get a seat at the bar. Once at the bar, the bartender explained the menu for... More
