Great small plates and a fun restaurant to go with a group. It can get a bit expensive but it is worth the money. Make sure that you call ahead on weekend nights because it gets busy. more

I don’t quite get the hype this restaurant has received. Everything from Italian risotto w/ ragu to Argentinian dishes...this is the new hip place to be. The plates are just delicious...and you'll want to order them all! One of Milwaukee's hidden treasures. more
We went to La Merenda the other night and got 5 tapas including dessert and a bottle of wine and the total cost was way under what I thought I would have spent on food like that. We will definitely go back soon! more

Great atmosphere, excellent food. Agree with previous reviewer that Milwaukee really needs this kind of restaurant. Will definitely return. Try the Sambal Goreng Udang and the Lumpia Shanghai. more
