They will take requests....they obviously take notes on returning customers because they knew the wine we had ordered on our previous visit....which was over 6 months prior! Outstanding dining experience.

We attended for a graduation dinner. The service was impeccable, decor was elegant, food was great, and the wine list was extensive. Can't say enough about what a fine experience we had.

My wife and I had a wonderful Anniversary dinner, from start to finish. Bacchus is classy and tasty. The wait staff is well trained, however they tend to hover. Two waiters per table is somewhat bothersome. Dessert was out of this world. Lava cake!! I would go back for more. Great risotto balls. Terrific halibut. Things I don't like, besides... More

This is an expensive fine dining restaurant in a nice waterfront location. However only the conservatory part has a lake view. Service was outstanding, food was good. Meat at medium both my husbands steak and my lamb was more like medium rare to rare. Portions are on the small side which we like but probably lacking for heartier appetites. Would... More

Our son and his fiance' are getting married in August and they have booked the entire restaurant for their wedding. We had the opportunity to visit Milwaukee with the kids and enjoy an incredible dinner (I had the tuna which was prepared perfectly). The food & service were fantastic. We were able to tour the complete facility, which included outdoor... More

On a recent trip to Milwaukee we had dinner at this upscale, fine dining establishment run by the Bartolotta group. The ambience is modern but welcoming and warm. The service is professional and friendly. The food is what makes this place a hit. Everything we had was delicious. I don't believe there is something for everyone on the menu. The... More

Everything served was of high quality. As starters we had Tagliatelle prepared with pork ragout, ricotta salata, spiced pepitas ($12) and Crispy Shrimp – sautéed Napa cabbage with Italian sweet and sour sauce ($11). Tagliatelle was very good, but Crispy Shrimps were even better. As an entrée I had Loup de Mer – sea bass with baby artichokes, marbled potatoes,... More

Great brunch, nice place really old and elegant building, restaurant is classic and fancy, but not too overwhelming. Great service and waiters were polite and nice, the food is really good, of course it is not a cheap place, so the price you will be paying can sometimes make some people feel that the food it is not enough food... My fiancé and I wanted to go to a nice restaurant. The staff was amazing! We are only 23 years old and they never once treated us any different than anyone else. Our meal was 160 with tax and tip. Which we did not find that bad. He had walleye for his entree which was amazing, and I had the... More

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary by trying a new restaurant. We selected Bacchus and we were not disappointed! We asked for a more private table and we were accomodated. When we arrived we were told "our table was ready" and we had a wonderful private booth with a card from the restaurant thanking us... More
