tasty food, good service

good selection of food for a lunch time visit. 3 picky kids, non-picky husband and I all liked what we ordered. Waitress was excellent.

Classic, elegant, historic hotel, favored by Presidents, dignitaries, and visitors from all walks of life. Even if you never have occasion to stay overnight at the Pfister, find a reason to have breakfast or dinner at Mason Street, or simply have a morning cup of coffee or a late evening beverage by the fireplace. Well worth it.

The meal was outstanding. My meal included corn beef hash with pieces of brisket, 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, and toasted rye bread with select jams, all for less than 11 dollars. The taste of the meals was absolutely outstanding and the service couldn't be better. There is something about midwestern hospitality -you get buckets of it here. People... More

It's a who's who of milwaukee restaurants . Many movers and shakers are here in the morning for great food and a nice way to start the business day.

Service was slow; food tasty nonetheless. Hostess appeared to be "lost" with all the guests wanting to dine.

The hotel is great. The food was good but the service was pretty average. Nothing great. A little pricey but its a hotel so that is expected.

I visited Pfister Café with a friend on our lunch hour. In the past, we have had some difficulty getting in and out of the place in an our, but not this time. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive and brought our check soon after our meal. We both ordered the cobb salad and it was really very... More

Service and food, elegant and tasty in that order. The BEST Sunday brunch in the city of Milwaukee. Also served at one of the VERY BEST Hotels in the Midwest. Just around the corner from the Hotel Metro

The Pfister is probably the best place to stay in downtown Milwaukee and the cafe is good for more casual food. The Mason Street Grill is highly recommended for dinner.

This was a convenient place to grab some coffee, a sandwich or a snack. They have a nice little place to read the newspaper and a tv for your news convenience.
