Complex and creative cuisine, somewhat pricey but worth the visit

Although this was my first trip here, the couple that brought me here mentioned delicious meals they had had here just a few weeks ago but weren't listed anymore. It's definitely a place to make a reservation. The kitchen is part of one front window and a largish table for 6-8 in the other. Two chefs kept a tight handle... More

We went to Crazy Water tonight (Thurs) with friends from Wauwatosa.....we are visiting from MS. What a nice evening. It's not a big place with about sitting for + - 50 in the main dining room.....more setting in back and on the patio. We had reservations for 6:30. We'd asked to have the primeur table which sits on a platform... More

Have been at Crazy Water three times and am always impressed by the quality of food created in such a small kitchen. Had soft shell crab appetizer, which was great, a beet salad, that was good but quite small, and two entrees, the signature hanger steak (excellent) and duck (also very good). The food is tasty, the service great, and... More

We had a sea bass special, a phylo and camembert cheese with blueberry and balsamic vinegar and the Watermelon Mediterranean salad. All wonderful tastes. Enjoyed the people that were there as well. Had very excellent service. We will go back for some dessert.

This has always been one of our favorite places to dine. That opinion was cemented once again. Due to the arrival of spring in Milwaukee(at long last!), we were able to sit out on the patio. What a treat. The beef Wellington was superb, the Key Lime Trifle spectacular. The service was marvelous and the chef, the owner, continues to... More

A favorite! Have had almost everything on the menu. Great place to take "out of towners". Great service, great food, great wine! Must make a reservation.

There were 4 of us and we shared two appetizers which were amazing. We each ordered a different entree. The presentation was fantastic and the taste was even better. We finished it off with dessert and it did not disappoint. This is now my favorite eclectic/fusion restaurant in Milwaukee.

The cooking gets done at the bar which made me very skeptical, however the meal was outstanding along with the service. I now consider this restaurant as a leading contender for diner. Do try you will enjoy.

Hadn't been to Crazy Water for some time -- 2+ years. It was even better than I remember it. The only downside, as many have mentioned, is that it gets crowded. They jam a lot of diners in a small space. In a way, though, that is part of its charm. If you have an option choose a table away... More
