Was traveling to Milwaukee with my elderly parents from Miami. We had lived in Milwaukee 50 years ago and my parents wanted to see their old city. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Cuban restaurant (we are exiles from Cuba that now live in Miami). The food was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. Location was great.

Glad we got there a bit early because there was quite a line by 12:15. Lunch time you order at the bar, and they deliver the food to you. Husband had the Cubano / I had the Lechon Asado (roasted pork) --- both were very good. We'd recommend!

This was close to the Hotel metro so i walked there (like a two minute walk) first night I got into town. the restaurant is warm and inviting; they have a smattering of tables as well as seating at the bar. I was served quickly both times; The Cuban sandwich was very good the first night; the pork and potatoes... More

Being that I'm Cuban when I first heard about this restaurant I was skeptical but they proved to be a worthy opponent. The dishes are authentic and taste just like my grandmother used to make them. I love the plantains...those are a fav! Job well done!

Stopped in as we heard the food was excellent. Turns out we couldn't figure out what was better, the food or the service. Brian took care of us and his knowledge of the menu was greatk

Came here for dinner. Nice atmosphere you can even sit outside. Food was decent. I had the beef tenderloin special with potatoes and rice. Not much meat though mostly potatoes. Prices are reasonable though. They offer a lot of speciality drinks. I would probably come back if I was in the area again. Waitstaff was pretty good too.

Everything about this restaurant was average. We got a table quickly, which was nice. Our appetizer of guac and plantain chips was good. However their "famous" mojito really wasn't that great. I've made much better ones myself. I had a shredded pork for my entree that was tender but a little bland and came with a very odd sour sauce... More

We visited Milwaukee last summer, I really liked the area and the different restaurants from different cultures. We stopped in and enjoyed fried plantains and the music. The food was yummy, and the service was friendly. It was a bit pricey for dinner, but I did enjoy the visit. I recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

The tostones were so dry you could barely choke them down with sangria. The Mahi Mahi was so dry you could barely break it apart with a fork....."more sangria please". Our other meal was just barely ok. The flan was ...dry and nasty. The sangria was good...."more sangria please". The waitress was pleasant.
