This place has a lot of character and a sweet view of the river. The food was very tasty and the service was quite good. I'd return for the Lumberjack breakfast.

It's really too bad that such a beautiful place is so awful when it comes to dining there. It's almost as if the Manager decided that the place is so stunning that good food and service isn't required. We arrived about 9:30 AM on Sunday morning. We were led to a table and we sat down and waited for about... More

Hubbard Park Lodge, a stone and wood building perched above the Milwaukee River inside Hubbard Park, serves only Friday night fish fries and Sunday brunch. We went for fish on a cold, snowy December night. The atmosphere is warm, reminiscent of a north woods supper club with live polka music and lots of family parties. The fish was very good... More

Ate here for a wedding reception and a Sunday brunch. The food's what you expect when catering to a bunch of people. The brunch does have a omelette bar like any good brunch does. The view of the park in the summertime was very pretty and relaxing.

Walk through a large culvert into a cleverly hidden park and you will discover a magical place in Hubbard Park Lodge. The atmosphere is a step back in regal elegance. At Christmas, the decorations are beautiful. The sunday brunch is our favorite in the city. Speciality stations along with a well serviced buffet can't be beat for a magical time.

The location is gorgeous and the building is quaint. We attended fish fry tonight and it was almost good. Service was so so but they were busy. Lots of little tho vs forgotten. No bread brought. One person missing utensils. One person did not get applesauce with their potato pancakes. The fish I think would have been amazing but it... More

This fun lodge building is in a park overlooking a beautiful view of the Milwaukee River. Twice a week it opens to the public, Friday fish fry (I have not tried) and Sunday brunch. The brunch has enough food to put you into a food coma for the rest of the day. You are greeted and seated at over-sized tables... More

Bartenders & Service Staff could not have taken better care of the crowd of 200? The place was full to the Balconies. Irish Reception with Bagpipes playing in the Woods upon arrival. Elegant Goodbye to a young Chicago Attorney who left us all too soon! But this place and staff somehow seemed to ease the Pain! A Job Very Well... More

What a nice surprise finding Hubbard Park Lodge for Sunday Brunch. We went on a beautiful fall day, walked thru the park, watched fly fishermen in the river and arrived with a warm welcome at the lodge (also others rode their bikes to the front door). Our first item delivered warm to the table were the doughnuts. We all enjoyed... More

Having been a "lumberjill" in Minocqua for 5 years (as a server at Paul Bunyan's), it was a bit trippy walking into Hubbard Park Lodge for Sunday Brunch. The servers wear plaid, the food is family style, the tables are lined in red and white checked clothes... all you can eat doughnuts, pancakes, bacon and sausage, eggs, cheesy hashbrowns, and...
