We stopped in for Happy Hour on a Friday evening and we are glad that we did. We had a glass of house red wine ($4), draft beer ($3) and three appetizers, fried chicken sliders, beef on a stick and shrimp ($5 each) at the bar and everything was just right. We prefer the portions of small plates or tapas,... More

Enjoyed our dining experience at the knick. We decided to do a bunch of appetizers, and they were delicious. We also ordered the ravioli, which was delicious

Stopped here for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. Quiet spot near Juneau Park and a nice ambiance, especially if you like glass art because the chandeliers were very Chihuly-esque. Food was good too, it was the best breakfast we had on the trip.

The Knick was a saving grace the evening that we checked into the Knickerbocker after a full day of traveling to Milwaukee. Menu had good options and food was tasty. They were out of a few things by the time we arrived, but we were on the later side for dinner. Good beer and wine options and the meals we... More

Another 20's/30's type of hotel undergoing constant renovations and upgrading. Rooms are generally o k. Also has apartments for sale at reasonable prices. Convenient to almost all amenities and good city bus service. Bar and restaurant are above average.

Our last visit two years ago was a big disapointment - no vodka in the V&T and rude waitstaff. What a pleasant change! Enjoyed our meals very much and the drinks were top notch - especially the Lillehammer. Won't wait two years for the next time.

Visit 3-6 p.m. for good drink and food specials. The shrimp were especially good. (It was a bit pricey for us for dinner.)

For a recent celebration we went to the Knick as we had not been there in years. Sorry to say we will not be going back anytime soon... The service was poor and very slow (and the restaurant was not very busy) The food was over priced and very average. Not to mention there was not kids menu.

We hadn't eaten here in years, so I felt it was time to return. We should not have. I wanted to start with a glass of wine. They had a featured wine, and the waitress offered me an opportunity to sample it. I accepted the offer. She went back to the bar, only to return to tell me that they... More

A great neighborhood gem. The food is good and the bartenders make the place fun. Great for a quick bite, a full dinner or a nightcap.
