Lots homemade

We chose Miss Katie's for lunch after exploring Marquette and Pabst Mansion. I had the salad with fruit, veggies, and tuna salad. The tuna salad was homemade and packed with fresh veggies. This place was recommended by the bed and breakfast we stayed at. The homemade hot potato chips are a must as an appetizer. The food we had was well prepared and delicious. The prices were reasonable for a sit down restaurant. We were visiting for the weekend and the waitress provided us with very helpful information for our stay in... More

Quaint mid-west diner, good food, nice service. Boasts visits from Bill Clinton and Michelle Obama. Sat at a table used for a commercial.

Have eaten here over the years when in town visiting my son at Marquette. Had breakfast at Katies today. Old time lunchnette feel with a bar attached. Breakfast was awesome!

Authentic, 50's-style diner. Very good food. Try the fired cheese curds as an appetizer. Their chocolate shakes are also to die for. Philly cheese steak isn't bad, either. Friendly service. Go for the nostalgic feel, stay for the food. Easily accessed off of I-94, west of central Milwaukee.

Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Menu can satisfy every appetite - their ribs are wonderful but so if the orange roughy. Blue plate specials, a variety of sandwiches, breakfast items served all day long - homeade soups and daily specials - and a great bar with generous drinks - or malts served in tins. Location is great if... More

After touring Marquette University my daughter and I were starving do we stopped in here for lunch. Were immediately seated at a table and waitress took our drink order. Both of us had cheeseburgers with fries and chocolate shakes--typical diner food. The burgers were dry as a bone and we weren't asked how we wanted them prepared. I guess everyone... More

My spouse and I were part of a large group (Milwaukee Section ASME) of about 40, dining at Miss Katie's as part of the April section meeting, which was preceded by a tour at UWM's Freshwater Institute not far from Walker's Point. The 40 of us were seated at two long tables with seating on both sides and ends. We... More

We used Miss Katies sports shuttle to attend a recent event. When we returned we found a $25 Milwaukee parking ticket. Miss Katies is surrounded by street parting with a two hour limit so beware. In regard to the food, Miss Katies ranks somewhere between average and good. Their food is fairly inexpensive. I think they do breakfast best.
