We visited the Pabst Mansion right across the street from Marquette and asked the tour guide where was a good place to eat for lunch, and she suggested Miss Katie's. We loved it. It was a good old-fashioned diner. The menu is overwhelming in its choices, and they offer breakfast all day. I had an omelet, and my husband had... More

We ate breakfast at Miss Katie's the day after being at visiting Summerfest. I had the spicy sausage omelette, which was large, packed full of sausage and cheese, and delicious. My only regret was that I only ordered 1 pancake. Wow! It was soooooo good, light and fluffy, with a wonderful taste. I would strongly recommend you don't do what... More

My group of 7 headed up the not-so-scenic route to Miss Katie's after encountering a one-hour wait at Sobelman's at midday on a Sunday. There was no wait at Miss Katie's, although I imagine it is different when school is in session. If you approach Miss Katie's from Marquette U., it is pretty and tree-lined. If you come from the... We were pleasantly surprised that we could get right in late on a Sunday morning especially since it was Mother's day. It helps to try a restaurant off the beaten path as the Denny's by our hotel had a long wait. The food was good. Both my husband and I had omelets and what we liked was the size. So... More

Our family (2 adults + 3 kids) visited Miss Katie's Diner for breakfast. The diner is "quaint" and a little run down... but the food is SOOOOO GOOD! Omlettes the size of your head!, FRESH Corned-Beef Hash - my husband claims to be the BEST EVER!, thick & tasty chocolate malts, and very reasonable prices. Please try Miss Katie's Diner... More

Based on the reviews here, we were excited to try it out. At 9:30 am on a Saturday morning we were able to just grab the last table. We were asked for our drink orders right away, which was nice. The server came back with my coffee and water and seemed disappointed that we were not ready to order. As... More

My two sisters and two granddaughters stopped here after seeing a play on Saturday. The temp outside was in the 20's and the inside of the restaurant was just as chilly. I was not very impressed with the diner. There is no children's menu, the fries were soggy and undercooked, the chicken strips had no seasoning (though you did receive... More

We went with another couple to Milwaukee for the weekend and wanted some good breakfast and found Miss Katie's Diner. It was a retro diner, a bit rundown, but with good food. The service was friendly, but the waitress, who had been a server for a long time I would guess, was friendly, but tended to be pretty impatient to... More

Love the atmosphere. Brunch is great. Very reasonably priced. Never had to wait for a table for a Saturday or Sunday brunch

Miss Katie's is that rare gem that serves excellent comfort food at a reasonable price. This is not fine dining, this is generous portions of sandwiches, home made potato chips, and fresh soups. Comfort food at its best. The restaurant is located on the edge of the Marquette campus. Parking on the street has never been a problem, and tables... More
