Classic old time diner

Miss Katie's is a classic old time diner. The wait staff still wears uniforms, the menu is old school (chili, eggs, sandwiches, etc) and the prices are reasonable. The homemade Italian sausage is great especially when served with an omelet and Italian toast. They have a bar with a shuffleboard... read more

We had a good dinner here. The decor is very kitchy-cool. We sat at the bar. Service was very good. We ordered the rib dinner and the ribeye special. The bbq sauce they use is not overly sweet which I liked. The ribs could have been a bit more tender, but were still good. My husband said the steak was... More

Arrived with a group of five of us for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly and were soon enjoying coffee and the ambiance of this historic eating place. The food was good and offered a pretty decent value. Certainly worth the visit, just to experience a true diner experience.

If you used to frequent diners, this is the place for you. If you have no idea, this is the place for you because it will replicate the experience so many oldies still talk about, Typical diner food - hamburgers, grilled sandwiches, comfort food with friendly staff and just a neat nostalgia trip, And they'll get you "in and out"... This was a pleasant, but busy, breakfast stop later on a Sunday morning. The dining room was full (with a wait) but there was spacr to eat at the bar. This is a 50s style diner, with a history of well known visitors. The breakfast hit the spot - sausages are really tasty and with a hint of spice, and... More

Your basic diner food but the ambiance brings you back to the old days. We sat at the counter and received got service. Son had pancakes and a cinnamon roll and loved both. If you want to go in time and see vintage jukebox and such this is the place. We enjoyed it.

Our first time to eat at Miss Katie's diner. We had the nights special, bbq ribs. Tangy sauce, fall off the bone tender, and cole slaw and hash browns which would rival any BBQ joint. The food was excellent, but the best part of our dining experience was our waitress, Angel. She puts her heart and soul into her job.... More

In Milwaukee & looking for a local favorite. Found Miss Katie's Diner. 3 of us ate there & loved it. A retro 50's diner that has been around quite a while. Biil Clinton ate there with German chancellor Merkal also Rachel Ray & a few other notables. Food tasted fantastic. It is near Marquette U. When you are in Milwaukee,... More

Go see Denise at 7am and have a wonderful breakfast. Specials of the day are delightful. Service is excellent. The Italian sausage omelet is quite a treat. Throwback to the old diner days but with really outstanding food. Excellent lunches. Try the eggplant strips. TO DIE FOR. Lots of street parking. Fun and extensive menu.
