Came in and was greeted by a super friendly, helpful bartender. We ordered a six beer flight and it was great! All six beers had distinct flavors. We sat in the front of the bar, by the stage. Next time i would sit in the back by the river.

Quick summary: a wide menu with some choices more interesting than basic burgers. Fresh food, well-prepared. Very good beer line-up, and full bar. Nice terrace overlooking the river in warmer months. We were here for lunch before a matinee theater in the area. There were a variety of tastes to please in our group, and this place filled the bill.... More

Visited for lunch on a trip to Milwaukee with my husband. They brew a wide variety of beers and we both enjoyed all of the ones we sampled. The food was great too. We both had salads - one steak and one chicken. Everything was very fresh. We look forward to coming back again.

My husband and I went here for my birthday a few years ago and had their beer and food! It was very good. The night we went ( Tuesday) there was a dance club that showed up and they were into swing dancing. It was pretty neat to see them dance !

Stopped by with recommendations from a friend who lived in Milwaukee. Very good recommendation. Beer selection and food selection was great. Sat out on the deck overlooking the river walk. Very nice summer or fall stop.

sits on the riverwalk; but that entrance was closed this month so we had to find our way to the street level...once in, warmly greeted...obviously a sports bar primarily...tvs going all around. attentive staff; we had a flight and a few; all fair to good beers...liked their sandwich menu...

This is one of our favorite stops when we visit Milwaukee. Great micro beer choices and relaxing place right on the river. In the summer we will just get a beer and hangout by the river and catch-up with old friends/family. If you like beer...definitely recommend stopping and having a beer.

My office is near by. So we stop there for lunch. We have also gone there for dinner and some special events. The location on the river makes for a relaxing and enjoyable time, even in the fall and spring. The food is good and consistently prepared. Always some interesting specials as options as well. If you are into local... More

A no-brainer when we are in the area is to eat at the Ale House. Besides the wonderful brews, the food choices are varied and well ptepared, and the patio affords you a great parade of boats and kayaks plying the Milwaukee River. Docking at the restaurant is also a plus for those of you lucky enough to have your... More
