Enjoyed our meal sitting outside by river. Highlights were soft pretzel appetizer & fresh brewed root beer!

We stopped at the Milwaukee Ale House as part of our Milwaukee Riverboat Brewery Tour. As this was our second brewery of the tour, we decided to make this this snack stop. We only ordered appetizers, but were not at all disappointed. The wings were delightful, the nachos were plentiful and salty, and the cheese curds were cheesy. My personal... More

We had a fun stop at the Ale House following our tour at the Milwaukee Brewing Co (Which is a MUST do in Milwaukee). The token for a free beer from the Brewing Co was good at the Ale House so we decided to stop for dinner/drinks. This place was packed on a Friday night. Took a while to get... More

The Milwaukee Ale House, serving Milwaukee Brewing Company beers, sits opposite and just downstream from the River Cruise departure dock. It provides an excellent view of the Milwaukee River, and provided an extensive menu for our one lunch there. As one would expect with a brewery pub, the beers on the menu ranged from lighter wheats to heavier stouts, with... More

This is my personal favorite place to eat downtown Milwaukee. Great microbrewery atmosphere with great food. We have had much of what is on the menu from the Bruschetta to the pot roast to the penne pasta with sausage in white wine cream sauce (my personal favorite) to burgers and steaks. I have yet to be disappointed with anything we... More

We sat outside on the deck over the river. It was a beautiful setting. Service ok, nothing to complain about. However the food was not that great.. Had the chicken pot pie and it was so thin that it was just the crust mostly.. the worst chicken pot pie I have ever seen. My husband had the bacon burger and... More

I liked the beer, the food, and the atmosphere. You're right on the river. It doesn't get any better than this. This is a MUST DO for anybody who comes to visit Milwaukee. The only downfall here is that a cheap lightweight sweatshirt is $30!

I tried dining here yesterday. I should've turned and left when the hostess basically refused to put me on the waiting list for a table when she learned I was dining alone. Ordinarily, I would've left, but there was a torrential downpour outside and I figured I might as well wait it out inside. I found a spot at the... More

Stopped with a group of 10 on a nice Sunday evening and sat along the RiverWalk. Overall, we were all very happy with our experience. The outdoor seating offers a great view of the confluence of the Milwaukee and Menomonee Rivers. They brew a large selection of their own beers, and also have a great cocktail menu. Their food menu... More
