Happy Hour!

They have great Happy Hour specials on the tab beer and appetizers. We actually stayed for early and the late happy hour in one night. Milwaukee Outboard is probably my favorite beer there! The cheese curds and pretzel were delicious. However, I would say the karaoke on Thursday nights has got to... read more

My husband and I stopped in here over the weekend because it was recommended to us by a family member. We each had a couple of the beers which were delicious but let me tell you the cheese curds were the best that we have ever had! My husband and I both agreed on this and we have had our... More

Oh my, I had never had a fried cheese curd that stretches the length of my arm until I had them at MAH. They were deliciously cheesy and not too greasy. My husband and I split a bacon stuffed bacon burger. It was huge and ridiculously tasty. I did not try one of their beers because I was really interested... More

We stopped here several times during our tour of the Third Ward. the Bar is multiple levels and there is a river view out the back side. It was too chilly to sit outside.....but that would have been a nice experience in Summer. Typical Pub type menu ,but we did not eat. This Bar is very busy and can handle... More

Went here for a lunch with my husband and son on a whim. The restaurant has a great atmosphere for all types of groups! Good food, decent priced and perfect for what we were looking for. I would suggest the Bavarian Pretzels for an appetizer with the beer cheese! Yum!!! This restaurant would be wonderful on a summer day as... More

We love this place and visit every time we are in downtown Milwaukee. Every visit hubby order his favorite beer, O-gii. And we always order the cheese curds appetizer and the beer cheese dip. Kids enjoy the burger and adults have tried all sorts of food from the menu (great Cesar salad with chicken, burgers and sandwiches). Staff is really... More

I really liked the interior, the cream brick and the overall layout of the building is beautiful. Unfortunately that was the highlight, I wasn't very impressed with any of the food and the beer was very subpar. I might be back if I'm in the area or just want to grab a non-brewed on site beer.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Parking might be difficult but worth the effort. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the starter plate piled high with nachos and all that goes with it was a treat I will repeat. It was almost a meal as proven by the to go boxes at our table. Selections run from... More

We wanted a view while we dined and haven't been to Ale House for a while. Enjoyed a table with a view of the river dining on a really good chicken pot pie and the tomato basil soup with the grilled cheese hit the spot on a blustery night. Extensive beer menu had us trying several choices.
