Mexican Magic

Had dinner here while in town on business and front desk suggested this very close and super tasty place. First I had the fresh made guacamole...outstanding with very freshly made crispy chips. Has a quesadilla as I was just into a snacking mood, but all the platters around me looked excellent.

I have been coming to El Fuego since they opened- that's over 5 years ago. We now live in Chicago and I had the utmost craving for my favorite Mexican joint! So we hopped in the car and up we came to indulge. I was in heaven. It is still and will always be my favorite. I love their salsa... More

I wish this place was consistent. The place is vast and I like the patio and the waterfall in the summer. That being said my experience has been: The more busy they are the worse the service and the food. Avoid the chicken mole. They actually tried to convince me that this was how traditional mole sauce was supposed to... More

Ray Awadallah is the manager of El Fuego and could be the most incompetent human being I have ever met in my life. If you don't believe me just watch the TMJ4 episode they happened to appear on due to their dirty dining. This place is disgusting and I would rather eat out of a toilet. The only thing worse... This is a large, nicely decorated Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed their house frozen margaritas with our meal. Our waiter recommended the steak soft tacos...and they were excellent! The only thing that we found only so-so was the Mexican rice...everything else was fantastic! We would visit again.

Chose the location because it was convenient (centrally located for us). The menu is a little confusing, for example, the mini burrito is shown on the same page with 2 different prices, the more expensive price includes rice and beans for $3.00 more...a rip-off, I think. Service was okay, but nothing special. Being with friends was more important than the... More

Nothing about El Fuego will surprise you, and everything is good. From the guacamole to the various appetizers to entrees like the tacos, huaraches, and fajitas to the drinks (okay...let's be honest, I mean margaritas). We've tried most of the menu thanks to living close and never really been disappointed. The only part of the place that is truly outstanding... More

We have been here several times now and each time we are very pleased with our meals. Flavorful and tasty food, great margarita's, and very friendly service. We try to eat there every time we come to the area.

I eat here every time I in the area. I love the food and service. The place is big so you can sit inside or outside by the fountain. The food is always consistent and good. The chips and salsa are always full. Their salsa is very good. I love this place! I ate here twice on this trip.

Went there with my aunt and our family, on a weekday and was surprised to see so many cars. We were seated immediately , and the food was awesome, service was lightening fast, all of us enjoyed the decor, would definitely recommend it to all vegetarians Cheers
