Just meh...

Have been to El Fuego several times and each time the food is just ok. Have had their cheese and onion enchiladas and also their shrimp tacos. Nothing to rave about. Ok drinks, but in my opinion over priced for the quality. The restaurant can get very noisy, so we enjoy dining on their back patio... read more

This place is huge. If the parking lot is full, no worries, the wait won't be long. It's very Mexican looking and the wait staff is awesome. The guacamole is the best! They are also very kid friendly. I wouldn't pass this place up!

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here, we had approximately 25 guests. They did a wonderful job hosting us. We had a separate room away from all restaurant guests to host our party. They did a great job serving us quickly and efficiently. The food was DELICIOUS, all of us went home feeling full and all taking food with us!

My wife and I wanted to get out and do something different for our anniversary. Having driven by, she looked online to find out about it. After so many five stars, we had to check it out. Wow! We asked for a booth. Within about 60 seconds, we had chips and a delightful salsa. Enrique came shortly with menus. We... More

I almost want to give a 4 rating, but given 1 of 7 of our guests had their main course pretty-much delivered when everyone else was done... And the host forgot about the birthdays in our party... I cannot bring myself to give a better than average rating. Great atmosphere, awesome salsa, but the appreciation for patronage and personal touch... More

The grilled pineapple & pork tacos, chicken mile tamale were flavorful, well prepared. Some of the best I've had; great service too

Had dinner here while in town on business and front desk suggested this very close and super tasty place. First I had the fresh made guacamole...outstanding with very freshly made crispy chips. Has a quesadilla as I was just into a snacking mood, but all the platters around me looked excellent.

I have been coming to El Fuego since they opened- that's over 5 years ago. We now live in Chicago and I had the utmost craving for my favorite Mexican joint! So we hopped in the car and up we came to indulge. I was in heaven. It is still and will always be my favorite. I love their salsa... More

I wish this place was consistent. The place is vast and I like the patio and the waterfall in the summer. That being said my experience has been: The more busy they are the worse the service and the food. Avoid the chicken mole. They actually tried to convince me that this was how traditional mole sauce was supposed to... More

Ray Awadallah is the manager of El Fuego and could be the most incompetent human being I have ever met in my life. If you don't believe me just watch the TMJ4 episode they happened to appear on due to their dirty dining. This place is disgusting and I would rather eat out of a toilet. The only thing worse...
