From the friendly welcome by Mimma herself to the quiet elegance of the decor to the wonderful dinner, dessert, and drink menus, this restaurant is outstanding. Our waiter, Will, has worked there for years and was a real pro. The food was outstanding. Everything appeared ultra clean. Even the bathroom was spotless.

We just returned from a disappointing meal served by an impatient and apathetic waiter. We both ordered a special. My husband's was scallops and lobster which was well cooked but very undersized for $35...twice as much as similar dishes on the menu and with no notice of the price. My dish was a tenderloin in puff pastry which was cooked... More

We were hoping for a great Italian meal. When we arrived, we waited in lobby area and were told by the bartender and four servers that the hostess (it's actually Mimma...a very nice lady, btw) would come to seat us. A few minutes later, she approached and offered us two tables. One was in the middle of the main flow... More

I had a group that visited Mimma's on a Thursday based on a recommendation from an aquaintance. As you drive up, you can tell this is an italian neighborhood. The exterior totally belies how rich it feels inside. Excellent food, great service, and priced at what we expected. I am from a small town so it always surpises me in... More

Wonderful food and service as always! I have been going to Mimma’s for family dinners and occasions for almost twenty years and every time is worth it! The food and desserts are always great and the service is impeccable! The restaurant is very formal and its offers great Italian dishes that you cannot get anywhere else. This may be the... More

We should have trusted what we read here but took a chance and tried Mimma's for an anniversary weekend away. When we arrived, we encountered Mimma right away and loved to see her interact with someone who was clearly a regular. The decor was outdated, but we didn't mind. The place was jammed! Our waiter was nice enough, but rushed... More

We went to Mimma's with two other couples, seeking to share wine, food, and stories over a leisurely, casual meal. Mimma's did not disappoint! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and besides a slightly-overcooked steak ordered "medium rare", the food was delicious and appropriately sized. Three of the six of us ordered one of the specials; three ordered standard fare.... More

Really loved the pasta..very fresh, authentic Italian, and tasty. I would give this 5 stars except for a couple things. One, they did have one reasonably priced white wine (Pino Grigio) for $7 but were out of it so they alternative was a $10 glass of Pinot Grigio! I don't even pay that much for a bottle of decent Pinot... More

We had a very small wedding and chose to eat at Mimma's rather than have a big reception. When we called for the reservation, Mimma was more than happy to host our wedding dinner and promised to give us a nice table. When we arrived, we had a very nicely decorated table in the front corner room. The waiter was... More

The atmosphere was quite charming and you couldnt ask for a better waiter. William was extremely knowledgeable about both the menu and the history of the restaurant. I had the Tortelloni con prosciutto e piselli which was outstanding. The pasta was done to perfection . The peas had a nice snap to them and the cream sauce was flavored wonderfully.... More
