Three Brothers is located in a quiet, non-commercialized part of Milwaukee. The restaurant resides in a building that is like a family residence, in other words, the building does not in any way resemble a warehouse, as is the case for many other restaurants. Another great aspect of Three Brothers, is that there are no television sets, e.g., tuned to... More

We walk in and the place is almost empty and we had to wait 10 minutes to get a drink order in as one server who was standing there was "in training" mode only. So, we had to wait for the one harried server to just get our drink order in and once that minor hiccup was over things were... More

OK, so I'm not Serbian, but I left thinking this place is the real deal. It's a neighborhood place, but not hard to find. The menu sure looks authentic. We had never heard of burek before, but my husband ordered it because it was the house specialty. It is made to order, and it does take upwards of an hour... More

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. The burek is a must. It takes 45-60 minutes to make you can call ahead so they can start it early but for sure worth the wait. I got the goulash and the meat melted in my mouth. Meals are $20-40 a little pricey for me but so happy I... More

My wife and I just had dinner at Three Brothers and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun to try a new type of cuisine, and everything we had was very well done. I had a cheese and spinach burek, and it was great. It was hot, fresh, tasty and huge. I stuffed myself and could only finish half, but I'm... More

Great food - made from scratch, traditional taste of the Balkans, delicious, enormous portions. Excellent service. Be advised that usually the prep of the entrees takes about an hour. You may call in advance and order - so that when you get there it will be ready for you. They don't take credit cards. Make sure to have cash. We... More

By far the best meal in the area and it never disappoints. Don't forget to order the house wine and Serbian salad. Burek too! Okay, now I am hungry...time to go back to Three Brothers.

My first meal at Three Brothers was in 1963--50 years ago! I am a second generation customer and have loved it as my parents loved it. We still go for the experience and the food--one of a kind.

The food is consistently good after many years and many visits. Burek, goulash and baklava are awesome!

That's what I felt like the night that I visited Three Brothers. The restaurant is in an older neighborhood south of downtown with lots of bars and restaurants. The building is quaint, and the dining room is pretty small but raucous. Food is filling and delicious, and drinks are mostly Serbian-themed. A couple of reminders: this place is cash-only, so...
