Had a great evening attending one of their cooking classes. Took home some great tips and recipes. Had great food with wine pairings.

We've never been disappointed at Coquette. Food is excellent and served without pretension. Wonderful soups, salads and sandwiches at lunch (our normal visit). Pommes Frites with aloi are a must. Not usually a French Fry fan, but these are great together with the sinfully rich garlic mayo. Yum. Usually feature a special omelette, which are fluffy and favorable. The Croque... More

My husband and I had brunch here last Sunday, 12/20. It was wonderful. We each had a cocktail before our food. We shared the smoked salmon carpaccio as an appetizer. Terrific starter. My husband had the tuna sandwich with a side of fruit as his entree. The tuna was served medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. He said he... More

Had never been to Milwaukee before, and were only spending the night. Had trouble finding a steakhouse without a reservation, but Coquette was able to get us in. Our table wasn't ready right away, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and made for an excellent conversation. We moved over to our table shortly after, and... More

Thanksgiving Eve was our second visit to Coquette. The food is excellent (try the trout), the service impeccable, and the room charming. It's a top rate dining experience at a moderate price. The neighborhood has lots of options if you want a drink somewhere else before or after dinner.

Stopped by later in the evening on a Friday night and indulged in a birthday chocolate martini and sampled several of the desserts including the creme brulee', chocolate cake and opera layered cake. The jury is still out on which one of those delectable treats was truly the winner! Loved them all. We cozied up to the bar after the... More

My mother and I ate here before a show and food was outstanding. We split the dishes and it was plenty for us. Love the comfortable atmosphere and drinks were well done. Good menu options.

I was immediately turned off when the hostess wedged us into a table with couples on either side. We were so close, it was like we were invading others personal space. The waiter then came on a bit pushy. Despite these two turnoffs, the food was fabulous. I had the bacon wrapped veal meatloaf and my wife had the pumpkin... More
